What travelers are saying
- Robert CJacksonville, FL33 contributionsWe had doubts, because the winery is not located in a scenic vineyard like the experiences we’ve had in other wine regions like California, Italy, France or Germany……,BUT Our Hostess “ Amanda” was very engaging, knowledgeable and enthusiastic about explaining their varieties. We truly enjoyed our experience here and recommend this winery as a place for family/ friends to have an enjoyable afternoon to sip some of North Carolina’s nectar, 😍Written October 29, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Jodi M15 contributionsTook a walk along Lake Chatuge by the dam--what amazing views. I think I could have gotten my heart rate a little higher if I didn't keep stopping to take pictures. Clean, paved trails--beautiful views. Couldn't have asked for more.Written February 28, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Jerry OChattanooga, TN36 contributionsWe love the MTB trails at Jackrabbit. They are fast and flowing, and fun for every skill level. The Campground is very nice, and perfect for a weekend stay to take full advantage of the trails. It’s only minutes from Hiawassee, and some very good restaurants.Written November 29, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Andrea RAtlanta, Georgia, United States18 contributionsThere was a festival the day we visited so crowd was large and parking was scarce. Still an educational experience.Written October 9, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Wander7830713 contributionsWe took a trip here as part of the Quanassee Path and the kids loved it! The guide is very knowledgeable and the museum has some really unique features. It is inside an old jail and still has the original cells and stairwell. On the backside of the building they attached an old doctor's cabin. Original floors, windows etc. You walk right into a time capsule and can imagine being in there with a patient.Written November 18, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - rmmeyer78Holzgerlingen, Germany1 contributionI love coming to this store whenever I come up from Pensacola, Florida to visit my in-laws. The prices are very reasonable, and they have a great selection of interesting items. I have bought leather-bound books, Waterford crystal, estate jewelry and antique crystal bowls. The owners are very friendly and helpful.Written January 7, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

The land is beautiful and we enjoyed walking around and watching the animals. The livestock is very well cared for, and the property had wildflowers blooming everywhere.Written August 6, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - CT18 contributionsAn interesting collection of old and not so old items. The prices were mostly reasonable but non-negotiable. We purchased 4 items, 3 not antique and one vintage. Would recommend if in the area.Written August 21, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Berry112008Fernandina Beach, FL227 contributionsThis is small but quaint little store, however the prices on their so called antiques and such are unreasonable expensive. I guess we can chalk that up to these home shows where everything is over rated.Written October 2, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Susan WCameron155 contributionsA friend told me about Goldhagen and suggested we go there. I called before going to be sure when he was open and blowing glass.
We went and were excited to see David Goldhagen blowing his glass making an Angel and a large ruffle-edged bowl. We were the only people there other than him and his assistant. We sat in plastic chairs about 10 feet from him and he explained each process as he was doing it. What a great view of him working the glass. The process is fascinating.
Afterwards we viewed his sales shop upstairs and then the other area downstairs. So beautiful to see all the items after seeing how they were made.
Please call him before going so you can see him at work. He often is away at art festivals and exhibits. You really want to be able to see him working.
Remember, if you o, you are in a working studio. Watch where you walk.Written June 20, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
