Very pretty lake loved all the nature.We stayed at a house right on the lake and the fishing was awesome.We plan to return again in fall to see the leaves.

I did have some trouble as the trail curves down and the rhododendrons grow over the trail and the thin trail and two deer trails are hard to tell apart.
Only a 1/3 mile hike from the parking area right on Hwy 129, this a must see in the area.

... of tree roots to navigate...I really enjoyed the seenery and wild life when we made it to the falls there were several deer in the water ...I would recommend this hike but take lots of water and maybe a snack!
We hiked from Cades Cove to Abram Falls it is a good hike to get there but it follows the creek/river most of the way and is a beautiful hike!
