My grandchildren love this park. With a large man made tree that has slides, climbing wall and other great things to play on makes this park a winner. All ages go play

We had lunch in the park with views of Lake Norman and then took a walk through the trail. It’s a lovely place!
    There’s a beach. We’ll be back!

BRP is just up the road from our home. It is where my grandkids play little league bb and where I take my g'son to shoot basket (both 8 and 10 ft rims). There are nice tennis courts and a friesbe golf course there as well. The park is linked to an extensive walking/bike trail. Everything you need for a day outside.

For the past three seasons, my son has been playing some of his little league games here. I always look forward to these games, as the fields are in excellent condition. There are four baseball fields here, and the whole complex is laid out very well. The lighting is great, there are electronic score boards, and bathrooms are nice and clean. There is a nice little playground as well for smaller children. The only reasons I am only going with 4-star instead of 5-star, are that the concessions do not have a Square to accept credit/debit card payments, and that the scoreboards are not always working properly. Both of these are certainly first-world problems, as many little league venues offer neither scoreboards nor concessions.

I hesitate to review because this little park is best kept a neighborhood secret. It is very small, square shaped with a nice little walking trail through the wooded section of the park. The playground area is very nice and, although surrounded by streets on all side, is in a low-traffic area.

I went to The Range in Lake Norma three times so far. Always had a great experience with the staff. Very friendly and extremely helpful. Had an issue with a jammed casing and the guys helped me out and were able to free up the jammed casing. Needed a tool to get it out. My place to go after watching Bart in the Tremors movie lol.

    So much fun!!
If you haven’t been here yet you have to check it out! Fun for just a game night or join a special event. We were here for a murder mystery dinner and had such a good time. The themed mystery was great, we were emailed info on our parts with outfit recommendations in advance which. Are it even better as the whole group dressed for their parts! The owners were fantastic, set up a private room all ready for us decorated to fit the scene. Food was tasty and included salad an entree and dessert. The owners even took a part in the game which was great.
I’ve been here now for a game night with friends, a bunco night we organized with our group and this event. Always a fun time! I highly recommend for friends, couples, families and groups. It’s an all around wholesome place

We went to Sky Zone Northlake and tried to use a Groupon there (because without it, these places are crazy overpriced) Even though we chose Northlake, apparently each facility has a limited number, and the one we bought for Northlake was reassigned to this facility, W8less. I guess they're affiliated. It was only 10 minutes away, but it was still annoying when you have children getting in and out. Nonetheless, checking in is a pain. You have to type in all this info for waiver releases, and then pay, and buy special socks, before going in.

This facility isn't as nice as Sky Zone in Northlake. It's more confined, the "snack bar" consists of packaged chips and vending. The Gatorade machine had 3 things available. But all that was fine. The kids had fun, that's what matters.

However, the biggest criticism I have is that this place, because it is so confined and laid out weird, does not have separate areas by age groups like Northlake does. You have to be ever vigilant with little ones as 12-15 year olds that pay no attention to anyone except their phones as they record themselves bound all over the place thinking they'll be the next instagram star or something. There's really no enforcement / policing or safety for the youngsters. You're on your own. At least NorthLake they had designated areas by age group. My 5 year old nephew got bounced on and hurt his knee within the first 10 minutes because of a careless teen showing off for the camera.

Outside of that, like I said, the kids had fun. My nephew ultimately brushed it off after some dramatic limping once he saw his sister having fun without him. Just be aware, you have to keep on top of things here.
