What travelers are saying
- Tom HAtlanta, Georgia92 contributionsBeautiful trail from Freedom Park, downtown, to Pineville 13 miles to the south. Out and back, is a scenic 25 miles on well maintained, paved, trail. We rode it 3 days after hurricane Helene and were worried the trail would be closed. It was clean and open! Well done!Written October 14, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- Linda BRaleigh, NC2,194 contributionsVisiting from out of town and took my dog for a walk. Lots of trees and shade. Wooden walkways along the creek. - Norman DBrandon, MS361 contributionsThis seems like a mic park, I just stopped in for a short break to relax under a shaded pavilion. There is a small lake here but they are doing work to it right now and there is no water in it(8-15-16) There are several pavilions with grill, and pic nic tables . Also plenty of walking areas kiddie play land as well as tennis courts and I think they have a ball field and disc golf course. This park looks like it could be very busy at times but today it was peaceful and quiet!Written August 15, 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Chrisinkingwood2Houston, TX5,741 contributionsThis park has many things to offer. It has a cross country trail that is used by local school cross country teams as well as just walkers and runners. the park has plenty of parking in the main lot or the overflow area for sports meet ups. There is a lake with a fishing pier, lots of trails and big fields for soccer or other games. There is a dog park with an off-leash area so you can toss balls or whatever.Written January 7, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
