And, unlike most of the other courses in the Charlotte area, these greens are soft and can hold a shot. - Luna6 contributionsI went here with my family on a weekday morning for mini golf. It was quiet, and there were a few benches to sit on while we waited for each other to finish. My one complaint is that on several of the holes, there were spaces where the ball could easily drop into the water, which had a lot of algae. - Zachery B1 contributionAbsolutely this is the first golf course I've ever seen that the apartments beside it that has better grass then the golf course, give me a break. And the greens are about the mist terrible greens in North Carolina and I'm not exaggerating a bit. It's not a lot of money to pay but it's not worth it at all, they should pay you ti play and you still wouldn't enjoy it. - shootparCharlotte, NC88 contributionsThis course used to be one of the best public courses in Charlotte. Sadly management/ownership has run it in the ground.
They've put little to no money in the course for maintenance the last couple of years. The staff has no clue. I mean, when the head "pro" is always blocking out two or three tee times before his, how do you expect to get decent service. The grill is a joke. You never know when it's going to be open, the service is terrible, and the food is mediocre. They are sitting in the middle of a 4,000+ home neighborhood. I know nothing about the restaurant business and I guarantee you I could kill it if I ran that place.
The owner must be taking what little money the course makes and putting it in his other courses or some off shore account. This place has the potential to be great, as it once was. A great layout meandering through the Highland Creek neighborhood.
