I love to visit Lark & Key, even when I'm not buying. Their offerings are perfect for gifts, large and small and in a pretty wide range of prices. It is a pleasant place to visit, and I always feel welcome, even when I'm not buying. Prices are reasonable, and the art is great.

This is a nice place to shop or walk around or eat a meal. Lots of places to shop, we enjoyed looking around the Williams Sonoma shop. They had lots of Christmas decorations up in the open ares. Good food at Bricktops.

"I'll just run over to Paper Skyscraper for a little card or gift..." No, you won't. Because you will spend far more time than you planned looking at the super cute items for kitchen, bath, home, gifts, socks, cards, Charlotte merch, coffee table books, bridal stuff, candies, kid stuff, pet items, paper and journals, and a bunch of games that need to be in my closet for the winter. Do yourself a favor and allow time to peruse or you will regret that kitchen timer you didn't buy or the perfect welcome mat or the bird feeder you suddenly need or the birthday card you should have bought last month, or.........happy shopping!

My daughter and stopped by on a Sunday, oh course the majority of the shops and restaurants were closed, but the old style alley inner city feeling was a pretty cool experience. Seeing the few shops, and several restaurants all in one spot. If you like that inner city old town feeling it is must to visit

I came in with some friends a few weeks ago and I’ve never seen such a wide variety of vinyls on shelves!! I loved seeing some of my favorite artists on the shelf! examples: Olivia Rodrigo, Taylor Swift, Evanescence, etc. Store was clean, spacious, and organized. Staff was polite and helpful! I will definitely be coming back again soon.

Small shopping complex with a few restaurants and specialty stores. I don't know if I would necessarily go out of my way to go here, but a nice place to stop of a bite to eat and check out some small local shops.

Be aware that there is a primary building but then there are some secondaries with other stores and eateries. We spent about an hour walking around and visiting the stores before having lunch.

The area is neat and the building has some interesting history and architecture.

Having just moved to Charlotte, we are so happy we decided to stop and check this place out!they have everything the whimsy heart is looking for. Local art, eclectic gifts, we even bought a sleigh bell collar for our dog.

The reason you should visit is because the owner is one of the nicest people we have met since moving to Charlotte! He gave us great recommendations for restaurants, a quick history on the city and it turns out we are from the same area.

We will definitely come back for our holiday shopping list!

We went on a Groupon and what a great deal! We painted with step by step instruction and they came out great! Out instructor, Karen was lovely, patient and kind. She was very complimentary to children and adults alike. She was a great instructor! We enjoyed our class so much and are proud of our paintings.I will go back and do it again.

Store of dolls located within the Southpark mall, being from Canada I've never seen a whole store like this before. It was surprisingly big, lots of staff, no one in the store when we were there.

This was a fun class my mom, dad, sister and brother-in-law took. I say "girly" because males may feel awkward or weird here, since it's basically geared toward women. We got there early and the staff didn't seem to know what to do with us, and were a bit short with us. I asked if I could at least smell the different scents (there are LOTS) and they seemed confused and said no. We left to get coffee while we waited for them to be ready.

The class itself seemed pretty quick, and very easy. We were able to buy champagne and OJ. You have to return the next day to pick up the candles since they have to set. All in all, an interesting and fun experience but I think I would prefer to go someplace that seems to have their process nailed down.

This bright indie bookstore is in a strip mall with good restaurants, making it the perfect stop before or after a meal. Lots of bestsellers are available here, and there's a nice history section.

Dylan's Candy is a great, fun place. The original in NYC is a must stop with a lot of interesting candy items. Since there aren't many locations, was so happy to see Dylan's at the airport during my American Airlines connection. Picked up a selection of candy by the pound for my family... and enjoyed a few pieces myself on my flight.

    HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

I am a devoted consignment shopper and South End Exchange is one of my favorites. If you appreciate the "older" American-made, solid-wood furniture, then you are sure to find some treasures here. They also offer a range of home accessories.
