What travelers are saying
- Jeff MeyerManassas, VA618 contributionsChapel Hill is the quintessential college town with loads of history, tradition and of course sports! I lived here from 1985-89 as a student and always look forward to a trip in Blue Heaven!Written May 17, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- L_Lott19Mansfield, MA338 contributionsThe woman who greets you is one of the friendliest people I've ever met. This is a free exhibit and worth it if you are in town. Really enjoyed walking around and taking in the UNC hoops history. A must if you are a fan.Written February 24, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Richard CVirginia660 contributionsWhile I was only in Chapel Hill for a short time, I didn't know whether I'd have time to get to the NCBG -- I'm sure glad that I did. It was a hot day, and I decided to concentrate just on the herb gardens: they are brilliantly organized and maintained. This part of the garden is worth exploring for information, inspiration, or just a sense of wonder: the closer you looking, the more you'll understand and feel.Written May 21, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Igorek007Savannah, GA1,221 contributionsDefinitely worth the visit. We had quick and nice walk. Stop for drinks and ate at Indian restaurant. Plenty of food and drink options for reasonable price.Written March 15, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- L_Lott19Mansfield, MA338 contributionsThe fans really know how to support their team! Traveled with my son to catch a game, and the energy was infectious! Seats were comfortable and we had a great view. Plenty of snacks and drinks for sale. No alcohol though. Getting out after a game is a bit of a crunch, but overall a great time.Written February 24, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- paul3776Paramus, NJ757 contributionsVery interesting museum with large Asian influence. Great selection of art & artifacts from Nelson Rockefeller’s collection on loan until 7/3/22. Free admission.Written October 10, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Gary BChapel Hill, NC25 contributionsIt's so awesome having such an historic site on campus. Space exploration is so real visiting this place.Written November 5, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Bowmanator22Charlotte, NC4,944 contributionsMy wife and I visited Coker early on a Sunday morning, so parking was no issue at all. A few people were spread out on the grounds, but we were able to distance ourselves at all times. We both loved the greenery, and there were more flowers blooming here than at the NC Botanical Garden the afternoon prior. Free entry and accessibility made Coker one of the highlights of our Chapel Hill visit.Written May 10, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- LanSluderBelizeAsheville, NC782 contributionsYou can't go in this private home, but you can drive by and see it from the outside. While it was built less than a hundred years ago, it does look like a medieval castle.Written January 20, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- housefrau365England, UK103 contributionsI spent a morning at Kidzu with my five (almost six) year old. For the price of a movie ticket you get two hours worth of fun. It is defiantly not comparable to Marbles in size or variety of exhibits, but the staff is friendly and are very involved with the attendees. I don't think I would go back again as I think my daughter was a little too old to enjoy most of the museum but it's probably worth it to buy a membership if you have a preschooler at home in the Chapel Hill area. I could see it being a great place to burn off some steam on a rainy day.Written August 29, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Brent SAbbotsford, Canada53 contributionsScott was great at sharing his passion and knowledge of distilling. The samples were generous as well. A very great time was had by all.Written August 12, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Andrew GDurham, NC49 contributionsThis is the perfect mountain biking trail - enough variety of terrain to be interesting, a few options to make it more or less challenging, with sections for flow, rock gardens, whoopdees. And all in a very nice forest with occasional clearings and easy parking.Written February 16, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Mike DGreensboro, NC185 contributionsThe stadium is a little old but the seats were comfortable. I thought the food was somewhat uninspiring but the students seemed to love their Bojangle boxes...
We took advantage of the park and ride. For $5.00 round trip (each) we were transported to the stadium and back. We used the 103 Airport Dr. lot which was pretty close to I40.Written October 15, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - sidmarcellaChapel Hill, NC7 contributionsReally well organized place and very close to downtown Chapel Hill. You feel is if you really are on a farm. Lots of super friendly animals of various types. Garden craft area and huge tent for events. Really a cool place that is really invested in the community and doing good thingsWritten July 9, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- HelenFort Myers, FL170 contributionsSuper cute cat cafe with wine and beer available for purchase. I am a huge cat lady and had so much fun playing with all the cats. Go early when the cats aren’t tired out to get the most playtime in. Fun decor and friendly staff.Written June 5, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
