Lots of hands-on areas for kids to play with, like the awesome race car track!
It's a great place to browse and to bring your children and grandchildren to prove to them that you had fun before tablets and laptops and electronic gizmos.

We hiked the falls with 3 children ages 10, 4, and 2. Definitely need some stamina if carrying little ones up and down the trail.

It was definitely busy on a Saturday, with tons of families, but the paths were nice and well marked, and some parts of the trail were very easy, while the trail down to Hooker falls was more challenging.
Our whole family (ages 1-67) really enjoyed the beautiful 2.5 mile hike and seeing the amazing waterfalls!

There are lots of areas where you can wade or dip your feet in (those areas are also shallow enough for kids), but I found that swimming near the waterfall was exhilarating and very fun.
Easily accessible, Looking Glass Falls is the perfect place to take a family with small children for that "big outdoors feel".

The falls can be viewed from a deck, and an easy climb down lets you hang out behind it... Amazing and fun for children to see.
The trail itself isn’t marked throughout, but it’s a short hike and can be done with small kids (as long as you keep an eye on them because there are definitely some areas where you can fall a story if you’re not...

My kids loved the fact that birds were nesting in the rafters at the entrance, although I'm sure the staff weren't so thrilled with the mess, they seemed to be good sports about it.
