Tanger Outlet Mall in Blowing Rock is a great little stop for neat finds, eats and clothing stores. We highly recommend the Jerky Outpost as well. They sell locally produced Beef Jerky (tender & delicious!) and many other items to choose from. Friendly service. The Outlet offered clean restrooms and a COVID-safe environment.

This is a great place for visitors to drop by and see all kinds of creativity and talk to the artists about their techniques. I'm looking forward to the new works the artists and craftsmen will share with us next year!

What a wonderful surprise in the middle of western foothills. The proprietor is Danielle and she is "tres" French. Just a super lady who knows her French, obviously, but also the products and markets of Provence. A super shop with all things French. We can't wait to go back ---- to Blowing Rock, but also to France.

First this is a large plain building just off the 321 highway on the way north into Boone NC. The business has a large gravel parking lot. Once inside it is well laid out with room to walk and browse. It is clean and temperature controlled. We even received a friendly greeting upon entering. Once inside you will find some of these type items, pictures, coke-cola collectibles, a few signs, primitives and farm tools, quilts, dolls and diecast cars, some furniture, and glassware. Prices on most items were or appeared to be reasonable or comparable with other antique stores we have visited. A worthwhile stop if you enjoy antiques or shopping for a unique item for your collection.

This was a really nice antiques store, not a garage sale. The first floor was well stocked with antique furniture and home décor items. In the basement they were having a 50% off sale with large variety of headboards, mantle pieces, children's toys such as wagons and ride on toys. As with any antique stores you really need to take you time and look for hidden gems. The staff was friendly, Parking was easy on Main Street and the area was very walkable. We will go back for more visits.

The chocolate was so smooth and creamy. We had to go back and got the ice cream that time (and more chocolate!). The ice cream is wonderful. It’s cold and the perfect texture.

I got pecan tuttles and soft chocolate covered toffee.
    I will definitely be back!

Reminds us of wine shop on Duval in Key West. Excellent selection of wine as well as several local cheeses. Sitting outside on the front porch drinking a bottle of French Rosé made our day. We'll be back.

We stopped at Footsloggers Wednesday and the kids and hubby thoroughly enjoyed the rock wall. Everyone working was very kind and helpful. On Saturday the kids (10, 12, 14, 17) and dad went out to their ropes course and had a blast! Three hours of fun as they clambered around and the guys working there were great. They were really good with all the kids helping them feel confident and be successful as they worked through the course. The kids wouldn’t stop talking about how much fun they had! Thanks for helping us find some fun on a rainy week!

Great place. I take the 6 yr old in (she is well behaved) and tell her to go for it. You do not get nasty looks from the staff. Kids are most welcome to come in and look about. Be ready to spend some time here. It takes a long time to decide on one thing. The toys are good quality and they gift wrap one gift. They also have a loyalty card.

While strolling along Main Street in Blowing Rock, you must stop in at this store and spend some time just browsing the shelves. Lots of nice local items to be had.

Great products & staff. Try the Blueberry Black tea! And try one of my fav spices: Tuscan Blend, which takes so many recipes from “tasty” to “wow!” I have added it to go-hum condensed chicken noodle soup & the soup tasted like homemade. Oh! And try their Rosemary Salt!

High Country Candles on Main Street in Blowing Rock is the ultimate candle shop that has unique candles that smell really good. I really like all of the different varieties that they have available and they have some candles that I have never seen before. The staff here is very friendly and accommodating. I was happy with all of my purchases.

Wife and I visited here again!! Katherine is great. Had some stuff made a month ago and she explained the entire process to me so I would understand. End result is what I wanted. We stopped by to say thank you to her this time. Next time you are in town stop by and visit her. You will be surprised what you might find and things you can use her product for. We will be back again in the near future!!

The selection and quality of items for sale in this store are unique compared to what you find the the other gift shops in town. Definitely worth a visit.
