Many steps but younger kids handled it well, with a bit of help. We were down for over an hour. Water was a beautiful colour and there appeared to be a small reef about 100 metres offshore that seemed to protect the beach.
Large car park and park with lookouts above the beach and good change room facilities.

UNFORTUNATELY Smiths Beach has a huge development which will be rubber stamped by the State Government who has taken planning control off Council.
This development will seriously impact this beautiful place.

It is such a relaxed place to taste wines that we return year on year. Chris Davies makes some absolutely wonderful wines.
