Visited in the busy tourist season in Summer . They help you on the seats . Even if you are afraid of heights take the plunge ! It’s a short ride & goes slowly . Scariest thing is setting off but it’s fine & hold your flip flops 🩴!

Close to the centre of Anacapri, this museum is a fascinating and beautiful place to visit. The former residence of the late Axel Munthe, the Swedish physician, author, animal lover, philanthropist et al, it is beautifully preserved and provides a wonderful insight into his life and times.
The gardens are magnificent and the views, spectacular.
    A must visit.

An easy walk from the bus stop, this church provides an unusual artistic experience to the viewer. Generally one looks at the walls or ceiling of a church, but here it's the floor which is completely covered in ceramic tile. The tile shows the Garden of Eden with Adam and Eve, and dozens of animals. You walk along a narrow boardwalk to take in the details and then up to the choir loft to see a panoramic view. There is a very modest entrance fee. Cash only.

This 1 person chairlift goes to the top a Monte Solaro, the highest point on Capri.
I was honestly a little nervous as I rattled off, but the view calmed my nerves.
From the mountain you have a view both of the Bay of Naples, with the islands of Ischia and Prcida to the north, and to the south you can see Marina Piccola on Capri and the three cliffs - I Faraglioni, and the Gulf of Salerno.
In high season there is a bar on the mountain.
The trip is absolutely worth the 14 euros (ticket 2023)

This is a really beautiful walk and really worth it (we walked from Punta Carena) A tip for those with a fear of heights: there is one stretch with a very steep drop down to the sea. You can avoid it just after the Fortino Punto Pino. Go up to the main road and take the road down on the left (road marked private with an olive grove on your left). After a while, you can rejoin the path towards the Mesola fort.

We walked down from anacapri to pier at late afternoon in may when weather is not hot, so it’s really an enjoyable experience to walk and watch such wonderful seaside view under breezing. However, it’s also challenging as all the way down are steps, some more flat but some a bit steep so just very few people taje this option back to Capri. It took us around 45min to arrive pier. But if don’t mind to walk and reserve some more time like an hour or more, it’s another valuable though not that popular option in Capri

The best way to see the blue grotto is to get there early. You should take the first ferrys from wherever you're staying around 8:00. You should then take the first boat tour right from the marina at Capri that goes around the island. Otherwise, you may have to wait up to 2 hours or more during the high season and anyway the bigger boat tours only wait a maximum of 45 minutes and skip it otherwise. The other important thing to note is that its actually closed due to high sea level more often than not. I experienced that the boat tour ticket agents never give you straight answer on whether or not it's expected to be open or closed for the day you want, even on the morning of, where they should have a good idea about the tides. You also have to pay 18 EUR to enter, which I think is quite a lot for spending just a couple of minutes inside. So decide for yourself if you think it's worth it and the important thing is to get there early.

Probably best seen by boat on a circumnavigation of the island, The second oldest lighthouse in Italy.
