- sheryl bFrankfort, IL140 contributionsWe visited this museum on a rainy day. It was very interesting, and they did a great job of showing the challenges of building the canal and the suffering of displaced people. It is located in an original 1850 weighlock building. They have free parking 2 blocks away under the viaduct.Written October 3, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - GlobeTrotterNL1Peterborough, Canada1,183 contributionsWe enjoyed our afternoon at Destiny USA. This is a neat place for teenagers because of the combination of shopping and entertainment. There are lots of fun things to do as well as some good food options. We didn’t find many deals.Written August 4, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- JuneNY1,624 contributionsI had not been to this fair since 1970!!! I don't recall a lot about that visit, but I thoroughly enjoyed it this year. There is something for everyone. Lots of free stuff given away. Great food choices, and many of the prices are very reasonable. The free shuttle helps a lot since this fair is SO HUGE. Honestly, going for two days instead of one might be good because there is SO MUCH.Written August 31, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Jeanne S53 contributionsGreat Farmers Market with everything from plants to produce to hot foods to fish (brought in fresh on ice from the coast). There was quite a variety of ethnic prepared foods, Middle Eastern was my favorite. All sorts of fresh produce was available including several varieties of homegrown mushrooms! May and June are a great time to get your nursery plants here at less than most garden centers. Get there early to find the best parking!Written August 2, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Sue CNew Port Richey, FL18 contributionsWe went to the market for the first time in early Sept. The market opens very early, but we didn't go until about 11. There was free parking and after a couple of times around we found a place near the entrance. There was about every vegetable you can imagine plus fruits in season. Snacks included fresh donuts, fried bread, and kettle corn to name a few. Flowers and especially huge and beautiful sunflowers. There were baked goods, jams and jelly and even Queen Ann's Lace jelly.
A fun way to spend a Saturday and it is just a couple of blocks off RT 81.Written September 16, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It is one of Syracuse's highlights. There are many fun hands on exhibits, with some downfalls. Sadly, there are also many exhibits that didnt work or were broken. The kids enjoy the kids exhibits- especially the multi story maze, with slides, tunnels and climbing stuff. . There is an area to eat in, sadly they dont sell any real food- only a vending maching for drinks and one for snacks (candy, chips, etc.) There is also a "concession" stand with candy to purchase for the movie. Speaking of which, it was a choice between Dinosaurs of the Antactic or a Planetarium type movie. Our 5 yr old chose the dinosaurs, which was a group of adults on an expedition , and he was soon bored with the adult level of the show. Parking is available at a $5.00 charge behind the museum , through the tunnel, in a parking lot, or you may be lucky to find on street parking. It was recommended to me (when I called) to bring outside food. I am glad I did.Written September 25, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Edward_LawtonWesham, UK5,430 contributionsCame here to see “Pretty Woman” firstly I would like to say this is probably one of the best theatres I have been to !! The architecture was simply stunning however the night was completely ruined by inconsiderate! Ignorant ! Rude theatre goers who have no idea what theatre etiquette is !!! People up and down all through the production to go to the bar !! This is not only total un acceptable but it is also very off putting for the actors on stage !!! I feel as though the theatre staff should adapt the attitude of other theatres around the globe !! If people leave the auditorium mid scene they should be made to wait till the intermission to re enter !!
Great production ruined by absolute neandrathals !!! At when its cost $180 a ticket it’s not funny !!!

I have been to the Christmas in July game before, had a few company picnics there, and overall always have fun. It's an American pastime after all! I find the minor league games much more fun than pro games, less costly as well.Written July 26, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Maureen BPalmyra, PA388 contributionsPassing through town we walked by Clinton Square and took a few pictures. The scene looked like something from a Christmas movie. With the tree and ice skating rink it looked magical.next time we will plan a visit for warmer weather and spend more time learning about Jerry Rescue.Written December 15, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Megreviewer14Manlius, NY102 contributionsGreat little place to see some good theater. Been there a few times over the years - and most recently there for what seemed to have been an SU production. It was great and solid and would recommend. Parking is a little tricky, but it all worked out. Syracuse in general seems to have plays that are sometimes tested here before Broadway and other cities. This and other theater venues are solid.Written November 14, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
