We try to stop by for some fresh products while visiting especially considering my kids love, banana's, grapes, strawberries, apples, and corn to name a few items.
In the Fall, their apple festival is perfect for an apple and pumpkin picking excursion with the kids!

Great to explore with kids and has important history from the Revolutionary War all the way through WW2!
Fantastic experience for families and the history buff
Breitbeck Park
#4 of 14 things to do in Oswego
It has great lake views, lots of green space for picnics, running, or relaxing, and playgrounds for the kids.
Breitbeck Park is a terrific place to relax, catch the sunset, and just enjoy time with friends and family.
Safe Haven Museum
#3 of 14 things to do in Oswego
I am sure some of those who came to Oswego Safe Haven to survive the suffering inflicted on a race of people and moved on to be productive US citizens, raised children in our great land, return to Safe Haven.
Very much worth your time ~ but younger children (elementary school and younger) might get bored easily
