- Bryan K5 contributionsToday, we chose to go on the tour entitled Private Santorini Tailor-Made / Choice of the guest. It was a wonderful tour. Our guide on this tour, Vasilis, was amazing. He is very knowledgeable of the island and provided us with a great and most wonderful experience and day. During the tour we were also given the opportunity to stop at a local winery; another great experience. Vasilis was very organized and provided many good recommendations throughout. Our tour covered much of the island. The sites, scenery and villages are adorable and will provide us with great lasting memories. We thank Viator and our guide, Vasilis, for the wonderful day. I highly recommend this tour.

His knowledge of Santorini and the places we visited were amazing. It was nice to get away from the crowds and relax with some good wine. - AmyPearland, TX104 contributionsWe booked the Luxury Catamaran Trip with Meal and Open Bar, for a party of two, on a late afternoon sunset cruise through GetYourGuide in June. This was probably our best excursion in Santorini! The minibus picked us up on time and we headed out. Once we were assigned an English group – with maybe 15 other people – we boarded. The catamaran was large and clean. The cruise crew was awesome! Maro, Elvin and Kosmas took great care of us. They took us to swim first near a fishing village. This was so fun! We were given pool noodles and snorkel gear and entered the water either by the back of the boat or by jumping straight off the side. The water was calm and not too cold in June. They let us swim for a while before we boarded the catamaran again and sailed off to the next location. Towels were provided. The open bar had water, soft drinks, beer (Alpha), wine, and a cocktail. The crew was BBQing as we sailed. Then we went to the second swimming location and played in the water so more.
After the 2nd swim we were served an outstanding spread – a freshly prepared Greek meal, including dessert, which was excellent. We ate at our leisure and fully relaxed with our group. Then we went to the 3rd swimming location which was a hot spring. It wasn’t super-hot or anything, just a little different than the colder water. After we’d had our fun, we boarded again, and we sailed to the Oia area around the caldera to relax and watch the sun go down. It was the best way to see the sunset! Along the way the crew showed us other areas and told stories so that was a nice extra. They took us to Oia to catch our van back. This was non-eventful, except that I’m pretty sure our driver was playing Tetris on his phone while we headed back to our stop in Imerovigli. Other than that, our sail was divine, and we enjoyed every minute. The sail was about 5-6 hours. - Lai Guan T2 contributionsWe happen to be in Santorini during the earthquakes tremors early feb. A lot of things are close and our driver Ilias ensure that we still see a lot of the island. Some off the usual tourists track ie local family run wineyard that we get to bottle our own wine, some picturesque spot etc. We really enjoy the trip. And the others points did not have links, so how a new tourist whom everything is unknown and new in Santorini might know all the names. I tried to contact to communicate by phone with the travel company, but because it was sunday, nobody answered and the following day the message had a delayed in my cellphone.

- Kev D156 contributionsThis is an excellent way to see the island of Santorini. So much is packed into the excursion without feeling rushed or hassled. It is perfect if you want to see the main locations and beauty spots on the island (e.g., Oia, Fira), but don't want the onerous length of a full day tour, which can be a drudge towards the end. The guide was also lovely and took some brilliant photos of us and had loads of interesting facts about the island. - Laura BLondon, UK7 contributionsWe booked through a lovely man called Peter in Oia town and got a great deal for the semi private boat tour. The tour was out of this world. The staff were incredibly hospitable and went out of their way to make the tour an unforgettable experience. The food onboard was delicious, topped off by the amazing views of Santorini and the surrounding islands. - Georgia-DDCGeorgia, USA98 contributionsA must do tour!!! Very highly recommend!!! Panos, our captain, is very customer focused and ensured we had an amazing time! He is very knowledgable about Santorini's history. Boat holds 6 people comfortably and has shaded sitting areas. We toured all around the caldera, swam in the thermal volcano water (wear OLD swim suit), snorkled, went to black sand beach at one of the little islands, saw Oia and Fira from the water, etc. So much fun! The lunch Panos prepared on board was delicious. This was the hightlight of our stay! I just can't say enough how wonderful Panos is!
NOTE: wear OLD swim suit or dark colored one. The sulfur in the thermal pools will discolor a swim suit (and it did!).
