Very nice change of pace from other parts of the island. Fun to watch the boats come in and out of the bay. Lots of places to eat.

Fabulous place to see the best Santorini sunset. Right on the point, so relaxing to unwind at the end of the day. Don’t miss the special place. Hire a scooter or quad bike if you need to!

Fantastic experience, we did the Volcano Divers tasting flight with the food pairing. Everything was very good, especially the Mavrotragano and Vin Santo. Service was wonderful and you can’t beat the view at sunset. Highly recommend. Definitely among the best Greek wine we’ve had.

Easy to get to as long (as you don’t mind the crowds). Old Ruins of a castle, free, beautiful views at the tip of Oia. Worth a visit.

Now located in the main square of Oia, which is the meeting place for tour groups, the church of Paangia Platsani is well worth a quick look. The church was destroyed in the earthquake which occurred in July 1956 and, as its original position was unstable, it was rebuilt in its present, new, position. It is probably the most famous church in Oia.

Excellent place to escape away. Quiet, wonderful colors, nice view. Better visit until, or late September and October. Access easier by the sea.

One of Oia's churches which is well worth seeking out. However, try and go early in the day otherwise you will have to jostle your way through the crowds of tourists. The view from here are spectacular.

Every time I travel, I try to bring jewelry home. Having combed several stores on Corfu and Santorini, I stumbled upon this wonderful little store tucked out of the way. I think I spent two hours drooling over their beautiful collection. Everything is unique to the store, and not to be found elsewhere on the island. I thought the prices were reasonable and I will be following them on Insta for new pieces to add! Andrea was so helpful and patient, as I probably tried on every piece in the store. Great spot to buy something special for yourself, or the house sitter:-)

This is quite a secluded beach, and a bit of a drive to get to and there is a bit of a hike from parking at the top down to the water. But if you want to get away from the crowds it is a nice place to go. There are no amenities around, other than the Katharos Lounge, which serves amazing food, but you should make reservations and have plenty of time to enjoy.

Agios Georgios Church is no doubt another landmark in Oia. It is on the different side of Castle Ruins and just walking from one spot to the other without taking much photos will be around half an hour at least. However it will take you two hours if you like photo taking or shopping along the route. There is a large square in front of the church and sometimes you can see visitors come to take wedding photos there too. Recommended.

Nice, very long, wild sometimes, rocky and Santorinian Volcanic beach. When it is quiet, you enjoy the best and most romantic sunset, beiing in the sea.....

So appreciated the composer/musicologist, Christodoulos Halaris shares his knowledge and personal collections to public. Amazed to see how the old instruments were well displayed at this "Museum of Ancient Byzantine Musical Instruments". The musical instruments are exhibited have been constructed by Mr Halaris himself, based on historical evidences for their existence and use from the prehistoric till the Byzantine times. The wall life-size painting shows how the players holding the instruments, plus push the bottoms of sound system giving visitors not only visual view but acoustic sounds of the exhibitions. I feel like I had stepped into an old time.
