There’s plenty of space on the beach, but at times it can feel crowded. Additionally, hawkers and vendors can be annoying, as they tend to be quite persistent.
It’s a great spot for swimming: the water is warm, the ocean is calm, there’s plenty of space, and it’s safe.
Another advantage is the variety of restaurants catering to different tastes. There are also activities like diving, tours, and other fun experiences.Written September 27, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Jurek7205Wroclaw, Poland162 contributionsGreat natural place in Zanzibar. you can see the natural forest with its inhabitants monkeys approaching people.
Unfortunately, there are a lot of buses waiting for tourists, all with their engines running, the general smell of exhaust fumes, lack of respect for nature, I don't understand how this is possible in a national park.Written March 12, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. He was a phenomenal Guide. He is a resident of Stonetown who divides his time between his work as a guide and his volunteerism teaching and rescuing cats.
His beautiful use of the English language and descriptions of all the sites to see, made our walking tour a highlight of our time on Zanzibar.
He also took us to an excellent organic spice farm tour and lunch the second day just outside stone town as well!!
