This quirky collection of guitar memorabilia is a must for guitar enthusiasts. The small house on New Hyde Park's main thoroughfare houses a guitar repair shop and because its owner has spend years in the business and has repaired the guitars for the famous and not-so-famous alike, he has had the opportunity to gather quite a few interesting pieces. The collection is just one small room, so you won't need to spend long here, and it's super crowded. The owner takes time with each visitor describing different items and telling stories from his work with musicians. There are many "Broadway" related items and stories which makes it fun and unusual.
I wouldn't suggest bringing young children, as the space to move around in is very tight and you are not supposed to touch any of the displays.

Beverly is a life saver. Her customer service was stellar. She dealt with all our challenges with remarkable ease. I will be coming back knowing that there are employees like her. Thanks

I called a cab when I needed to get home from a wedding at the in at New Hyde Park. After seeing all the horrors with uber and lyft I needed something new and this was it. New Hyde Park Taxi service sent me a beautiful SUV and a professional chauffeur for me home to Huntington safe and sound. This is not your traditional yellow cab service they have higher end black cars and better trained drivers.

Going to this theater reminds me of days gone by when you would see a movie at a local movie house. It's refreshing to still have these around. The Herricks Theater is small and intimate. You can avoid the hustle and bustle of going to the mall. They show first run movies, the price is competitive and the seating comfortable and ample. The theater is small, however, so be sure and buy your tickets early and get inside to find the best seats. Parking is a bit of a challenge, especially if there are a few movies starting around the same time. Get there early and you'll be fine.

I use a walker and have prosthetic legs. I do not use a wheelchair at this time. I saw this facility nearby and thought I would give it a try. It is located on the property of the Spring Rock Golf Center.

There are two 18 hole courses. Prices are reasonable and there are senior discounts. Grounds are well kept and pretty to the eye. They have water misters to use on hot days. There is a eating area under a tent. There is a small concession stand and restrooms. There is LOTS of parking although the lot could use some paving. There were no handicap spots that I could see.

The entrance and registration window is up a hill. Unless you can go up a step and a hill, you cannot reach the counter. You need an able bodied person to do this. The woman at the counter was not nice. We asked which of the two courses were flatter. She did not know. We asked her which was shadier. She did not know. She said she has never walked the two courses so she didn't know anything. We asked for our clubs. I'm 6'4" tall. Most mini gold centers have long clubs available. She said there were none.

So off we went. We took the Juliet course. It starts off with an entrance ramp. Tough walking but manageable. The first few holes were smooth. There are then steps to go to upper holes. Doable--but not if you have a wheelchair. There is a bridge that crosses a waterway. Nice to look at but steep and difficult to walk across. The 'hazards' on many of the holes involve hills and banks. Difficult at times for me to keep balance but still able to do it. Most of the course has handrails in areas needed. But there is no short cut or back-way in that would be more conducive to folks who have problems on steps and hills.

There is no 'tee' or tee mat on each hole. Some starting areas are on a hill and a way of holding the ball would be helpful (disabled or not) Overall it was an enjoyable day even for me.

It was a HOT day. There is a Snapple machine ($3) but it was out of order. There is a refreshment area that did sell Snapple, soft drinks and bottled water. We asked for a cup to share a bottle. The same woman that was there when we came in said "No cups" She eventually gave us two Styrofoam cups but she said rudely that for future reference you can't have any.' There were no water fountains in the area that we could see.

We'll be back and we want to try the Romeo course. Nice courses, well kept, look fairly new. But the woman on staff is abrupt to say the least. We met another gentleman on staff who was nice but the woman did all the talking. Staff should be welcoming to all.

I would give 0 stars if I could. The service from start to finish was a complete disaster. On the website it’s clear that you can pick from any two wineries, well that was not the case at all. Michael who booked everything for us told me my group was too large for most wineries and kept going back and forth with us and which places we can choose from. The wineries we settled with were Pindar and Laurel Lake. The reservation we had confirmed with him for Pindar was for 1pm and he said it was for 12 (false) so we had very limited time there. Also, the bus did not leave until 1030 (we requested an earlier pick up and Michael denied that for us) which made us very late to our reservation. At Laurel Lake it was confirmed there would be food available for purchase which was also not the case. The place was half finished and looked like a Home Depot. We also only got 1 hour there.

The day before the trip we had confirmed everything with Micheal and paid everything we needed to pay. He had stated tip was included from the very beginning until the day before we left. When the bus arrived at 1030 I got a call from the company saying I needed to pay an additional fee of $138 and if I didn’t the bus will not move. Since we didn’t want to be late to the winery (we were late anyway) I paid the fee. Once on the bus we can called the company and they said they made a mistake and will Venmo me my money back.. 2 days later and still no refund, they stole my money.

The bus driver on the other hand was okay. He did drive pretty crazy and we were all falling over the place. Once we got off the bus to finish our day he followed me off and demanded a tip. I told him we had already paid the tip and to speak to Michael. The bus driver was now yelling at me saying “I just worked for free, this is ridiculous”

After him speaking to Michael he had then called me and at this point I was very upset and he was very rude on the phone. Kept shushing me and then proceeded to call my coworker a “f***ing b*****. Completely disrespectful and inappropriate. The bus driver sat outside the house for 15 minutes and refused to leave without payment. To get him to leave we did throw some cash but even then it seemed like he wanted more.

Michael is a con artist and scammed all of us. I will never allow anyone I know to use this company. They are phonies and disgusting human beings.
