This was our second tour with Kampala City Trekkers. Great day visiting the bridge, source of the Nile, boat ride, relax at a resort, waterfall, local food etc. As before, Nassar was charming, full of info, and helpful. Great way to spend a day and say you’ve been to the source of the Nile!

I only had one day to spare in Kampala and wanted to see as much of the countryside as possible. This tour delivered! It was definitely not a leisurely day, trainers and comfy clothes were a must, but that is exactly what I wanted. Anthony, my all-day tour guide, picked me up on time and was very helpful and knowledgeable. He pointed out lots of geography and local knowledge, assisted me in understanding when and how much to tip, when to be mindful of local custom, and I found him to be jovial and willing to adjust. For example, when I found myself too tired to make the last stop on the tour he graciously brought me back to Kampala, though as the only person on the tour that day I think this was easier than if I had been in a group. At several stops we had a site-specific tour guide whom we met on arrival (Alex at Ssezibwa Falls, Deo at Granite Falls/Mabira Forest and Onesmus at Jinja/Source of the Nile). Each was kind, full of information and questions led to interesting conversations. At Ssezibwa Falls and Granite Falls/Mabira Forest you are definitely going to traverse terrain that requires at least trainers, but could definitely benefit from hiking boots. I wore cropped hiking pants and there was one section in Mabira at the Falls where I had to be careful of biting ants on the ground level foliage - full length pants would have been better, but I managed and Deo was great to point out which plants to avoid touching. I had a lot of fun with Onesmus in Jinja as he boated me through the source of the Nile as well as fish and chips, Jinja style (deep fried whole tilapia and chips), strolled me through lots of history, monuments, the central marketplaces and even my first boda boda ride! He also owns a small clothing shop for men in Jinja and was a great help in directing me to some stylish kitenge for my sons back home. You do spend a good amount of time traveling from site to site by car, but the roads are never boring in Uganda and Anthony did well to point out features all the way - including the street food stop in Mukono where the Muchomo and Matoke were amazing. This tour gave me the most coverage for the time had, and definitely inspired me to return and spend a longer time in some places (Mabira Forest and Jinja for certain!).

There were several memorable highlights including chimpanzee tracking, gorilla tracking and boat trip on Kazinga Channel. My driver/guide George made a solo travel experience as an older woman feel friendly, safe and interesting every day. Manager Jackson organised this trip really well and there were no travel or accommodation setbacks.

This was an amazing trip! There were so many highlights... our outstanding, kind, patient, amazing leader Philip!! What an absolute saint.

He was so organized and insightful! Our awesome trek crew who spoiled us with outstanding food and camaraderie. The beautiful people of Uganda who are so generous with their history and culture. The rafting was challenging but finishing with friends made it totally worth the effort.

Honestly, I cannot think of a way this trip could have been better. We were so well cared for and it is definitely an active adventure!”

Excellent tour to Jinja and the source of the Nile. We went on a boat which was very pleasant to the point where Lake Victoria forms the Nile and also saw the Speke monument. We also stopped at waterfalls and had a rainforest trek with a knowledgeable guide

We really liked everything of the trip. We liked the people and hole the nice country who has alot things to show hole the time. Our guide is a perfect and kind person. We didn't have a great guide before like Jackson and his friend Godfrey. We want to recommend everyone to book with them. They really know what a tourist wants. Jackson going to show you alot of animals and other beautiful things of Uganda 🇺🇬 . This guide is unbelievable. Because he takes you wherever you want and drive in many hours without saying I'm tired. He was always nice with us.

We highly recommend Primate World Safaris for a trip in Uganda. We booked a car with a driver for our French family of 6 for 2 weeks in August. Jackson, the manager, was always available to answer our questions about the booking or the country on WhatsApp or by email. The booking was easy and Jackson made sure we were happy with our driver during the trip.
Geoffroy, was not only a driver but also a guide and an activity planner. We thank him very much for his kindness and professionalism. He knows every road of his country, including the good ones of the national parks where we saw a lot of wildlife, including the big four (we decided to skip Rhino Sanctuary). Thanks to Geoffroy, we learnt many things about Uganda’s culture and history. He did his best for us to enjoy our stay.
Our trip in Uganda would not have been the same without Geoffroy and Jackson. Thank you Primate World Safaris !

First there was proper time management which made us cover all items, all SOPs were observed and efficient customer care.
I enjoyed the zip lining in mabira beating all zip lining experiences I have taken in Busika, Across Lake Bunyonyi , Rwanda and Dubai. The photos taken are a testimony.

Tubing on the Nile was a dream come true after weeks of postponement , I enjoyed the moments with calmness and adventurous peace of mind.

This is my second time to travel with you and you make each tour home away from home.

We could not have been happier with our tour! We went in early October and the weather was perfect. The views were incredible, as we had expected! But what really made the tour were the guides! They were down to earth, hilarious and we had no idea all the knowledge we would learn a long the way! Would 100% recommend this to anyone considering it! So much fun!!

Amazing experience altogether. Our highlights were the rafting on the Nile and Karamoja and Kidepo park. Me and partner have always wanted to see this part of Uganda and we were thrilled. I have never seen a place so beautiful. We saw ostrich and cheetah which our guide said is very rare. I would highly recommend Safari vibes. We were very pleased that our guide was very organised and followed the covid standard procedures. cant wait to come back and see the Gorillas.
