    My family and I had a fantastic experience with EthioTours . Had a fantastic morning tour on lake Tana . Beautiful sunrise and a fantastic breakfast. The guide was really knowledgeable about all the animals we saw and explained about the fishermen and what they were doing. Saw plenty of hippos too! It was an amazing experience, we visited three beautiful islands . We would like to thank Melese for showing us all unique areas and sharing the stories .WA : +251918768616 . Private tour was absolute best way to relax and see the beauty of the Keys. They are working hard to adhere to the latest Government health advice for boat operators and passengers. Highly recommended !

    As it was St Mary's annual festival, it was a good opportunity to visit the Island. There The church is 950 years old, with fascinating original architecture especially the interior of the roof. We didn't get to go inside as the festival had recently finished however, a knowledgeable priest in the small museum gave us a brief guide through the founding of the church. Various artefacts include ancient hide holy books including St Yared's hymns. There is also a display of clothing donated by former Emperors e.g. Yohannes IV and Haile Selassie. Mango trees everywhere, the mangoes are sold for income; beautiful, natural island to walk around; about 21-22 families live on part of the island, opposite side to the Church. Worth a visit if short on time;

    This out of the way monastery was interesting and worth the trip on the lake. It is fairly stark but had an unusual wooden "bell" for calling people in.

    Standard backpacker rooms, but location is great, Nati is excellent- very accommodating, if you want to do tours, trips, or just want some information about anything in bahir dar or anywhere really, nati and the staff will go out of their way to help and tailor the tours for what you are interested in, oh and the breakfasts really nice.

    I worked with Temesgen to organize a 2-week trip for a group of 17 adults. He was always very quick and friendly with his email responses (sometimes I think he never sleeps) and he put together the perfect itinerary for us at a good price. We traveled the Northern Historical route and visited the Southern Omo Valley tribes as well. Our experience with Teme, the local guides and our team of drivers in the South was excellent. Everyone was friendly, reliable, honest and punctual and really tried to make everyone in our group happy all of the time, which can be difficult with 17 people! Our itinerary was very full so it required several domestic flights and many hours of driving each day, and our drivers (we had 5 Toyota Landcruisers in the south) were all very skilled at handling the varying "road" conditions that exist (and sometimes don't exist) in Ethiopia. Any problems that arose were handled as quickly and as smoothly as possible, given the circumstances. You have to remember that you are in Ethiopia and sometimes things don't go exactly as planned. I can't say enough good things about this company and Teme's determination to become a leading and well-respected tour operator. After the time that we spent together, I am happy to say that not only do I respect and admire him and his team, but more importantly, I have gained friends for life from this wonderful and unforgettable adventure! I have no problem recommending this company to anyone who is looking for an honest and reliable tour operator who will make sure your adventure in Ethiopia is both affordable and one that you will never forget. Thank you, Temesgen and all of your staff, for your friendship and for making our trip to Ethiopia beyond incredible!
