- Luangwa1166 contributionsWhat an experience both to reach the reserve and the visit.
You access by canoe because there are no roads. After the canoe you visit the forest, full of indigenous animals. Obviously lemurs, chameleons, snakes, birds etc.
Then they do lunch for you- reallybgood food.

- Venkatesh KKampala, Uganda113 contributionsFrom Mont Passot, we experienced the most exotic and breathtaking sunset ever seen on earth.
Here, you have a 360-degree view of the entire Nosy Be island.
We spent close to two hours witnessing the spectacular sunset view in pin-drop silence... So amazing!
The right spot for silhouette photography.
The indigenous people are welcoming and friendly.
If you happen to visit Nosy Be, do not miss out on Mont Passot...Written June 24, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - ceciliacerrilla1 contributionI very much recommend Sakalav' Diving! Nathalie and Alain were super friendly and professional during my 4 dives. I dove with Nathalie and she took care to point out lots of interesting critters, and was very attentive to me throughout the dive. I also stayed at their lodge (Ecolodge Sakalava) and also highly recommend! Nathalie helped me organise transport to Ankarana National Park after my departure from Nosy Be.Written April 17, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Sightsee7179926 contributionsScuba Nosy Be diving center is located on a quiet beach, with enough restaurants and hotels. We took advantage of the backpacker's accommodation in the center, simple but very clean and free if you dive! Otherwise there is the Nosy Lodge directly next door with a great restaurant, nice rooms and nice swimming pool. There are beautiful colorful coral reefs as well as some well populated wrecks. Many varied sites: for beginners so beautiful and full of life that there is no hesitation in coming back even as advanced divers (Tanikely reserve), reefs on different depths and some walls with sharks. Two tank dives starting at 8 am return around 12/1 o’clock one still has time to visit the island in the afternoon (Mt Passot, horse riding, Hellville or the Lokobé nature reserve..). There are 4 small boats with 8 tourists and two guides during the season so you can choose where and how you want to dive and they are very flexible to find you exactly what you want. Very nice captain and skipper who stay on the boat while diving and always helps. Also nice daytours: two dives with lunch on one of the other small islands like Nosy Tanikely (magnificent reserve where you can visit lemurs and chameleons during the surface interval), Nosy Sakatia (with its green turtles that can be observed grazing in PMT) or Nosy Iranja (two islands connected by a long bank of white sand). I did the most beautiful dive of my life in Atnam, where a leopard shark followed us along the wall and presented itself from all sides, then we went up on the riff through a very pretty arch and found some pretty nudibranchs (the other group that stayed up there saw a family of white tip sharks with baby). During the surface interval, a group of about twenty dolphins visited us, then a second very beautiful dive full of fish around the bread sugar and delicious seafood lunch and swim in Nosy Iranja… the little paradise.
I also recommend them for training: in 2018, we did our CMAS 2 there and this time my 15 year old son his SSI AOWD. I highly recommend Scuba Nosy Be. Thank you Erwan & Narindra and the whole team! The world is big and so many places to discover, we rarely come back to the same corners. But there I do not regret having returned. We are already dreaming of coming back in October to see the whale sharks. Or rather in August for the humpback whales? There are many privileges with doing safari with them.
We were finished by watching whale sharks, our guide saw again them some where, he stopped the boat and asked every body to jump in the water, he wanted to show us much, even when the time was over

- Las BuganvillasCartagena, Colombia797 contributionsThis islands is first and foremost known for easy access to large communities of black lemurs (females are actually bronze colour). However, on your wy to the top, you pass by the endless display of extremely attractive embroideries on cotton ,mainly table clothes of different sizes. The prices are incredibly cheap.Written September 21, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
