Asked to visit a few places around Gambia, good price, took us around the destinations. Fed monkeys and touched crocodiles.

Nice friendly bar, privately owned in the grounds of the Kombo Beach Hotel. Has all the live football on big screens if that's your thing, which it is for us. The owner was away but his partner Karalina (sorry about the spelling!) was a wonderful, friendly host and very helpful with advice when asked. It was quiet as it was the end of season but we do plan to go back to Gambia next year in a busier period and we will definitely go back to the Liv Bar!

Horseback riding with Barry was a great experience! The horses were very kind and he guided us along the whole way and also explained many things about Gambia to us too. He took some very nice photos of us as well when we were on the horses. We rode on the beach and also a bit in the bush, and both was very beautiful.

We also did a safari later on with Barry which was a great experience too. Highly recommended when you visit Gambia!

We went on a day-trip to Guinea-Bissau with Lams and Bax. On the way, we had the chance to encounter a local palm oil manufacturing, enjoyed lunch and got to learn a lot about the flora, fauna and culture of Gambia, Senegal and Guinea-Bissau. In Guinea-Bissau itself, we got to enjoy Cashew Juice, met a local family and could see their house as well as visited a local market.

We did not spend that much time in Guinea-Bissau itself, but the trip was nonetheless well worth it, as both Lams and Bax are truly kind and hospitable guides with a lot of knowledge that they shared with us. It's not really about the destination but the journey itself that made our day with Lams and Bax and all the local people we met along the way truly unforgetable. I would always recommend Lams Tours!

Our family has been on 2 tours with Bamba, one to Fathala safari park in Senegal and one full day visiting 5 places. He is an honest, genuine and outstanding person and a very kind and professionel guide. We give Bamba our very best recommendations if you want an exceptional tour around Gambia. Best regards from the Schmidt family.

During our first visit to Gambia, we met Simon on the first day and agreed with him that he would be our guide for 4 days on various excursions.

The first went to Serrekunda market (2 people) and mangroves and because Simon has been doing this for a long time, he knows his way around and you come to places where you would never go with a large group.

The second excursion was a two-day trip to the interior of Gambia (Hidden Gambia, 4 people) where we visited the nomads and had a lot of contact with the locals, really fantastic.

Finally, we went with him to the Fathala wildlife park (2 people). Very beautiful and they took plenty of time to show us almost all the wildlife in the park. Simon always stayed with us and showed us the way through the hustle and bustle (where other providers put you on the boat and you are picked up by a taxi driver on the other side)

Simon is an experienced guide who keeps his appointments promptly, speaks perfect English, is friendly, knows his way around the local area very well and always remains calm. His drivers are also reliable and safety comes first.

We highly recommend Simon tours, everything is possible as long as you indicate what you want (extra).

You can always contact us if you have additional questions

    Thanks Simon and drivers!

Kemo, our tour guide whom we have used on several occasions is very knowledgeable of various Gambian locations. He is very friendly and communicates effectively, and listening to our needs. He is well organized and punctual and managed our time efficiently. He is passionate about locations and its history which was conveyed to us very enthusiastically. He could tell us stories and anecdotes bringing culture to life. He is respectful and was successful in creating memorable and enjoyable experiences and I highly recommend him to anybody visiting Gambia.
I forgot to mention that he even played a critical role in the wedding of my son. He is very adaptable and would go beyond and above to help you.

Skinny is trustworthy, honest, reliable & fun to be around.
I would recommend Skinny to anyone looking for a great time in Gambia. We booked the Safari tour, along with many others, which was a great experience and hassle free.
Skinny was also available to recommend & show us places to eat with great value for money.
We look forward to booking with Skinny upon our return to Gambia.

We stayed at the high quality Cliff Bay in Maderia, an absolutely lovely hotel well worthy of its 5* rating. But this review relates to a guy called Alex. We booked, via the hotel, a full day taxi tour with him on Tuesday 28th November. It was a superb tour of the West and North of the island. Alex, a local, was charismatic, knowledgeable, flexible and possessed really good inter personal skills. So, if you are at the Cliff Bay and want a taxi tour of the island, my wife and I strongly suggest that you ask for Alex.
