This was the first winery I visited on a very rainy day. When I was there I enjoyed my experience, but I was not overly impressed with the education that went into the wines- the server really did not spend time with me- I was seated- asked for recommendations- was served my wines- had one follow up with the server-
I only visited one of the buildings- again I think had the weather been nicer- I may have done more, but one was enough.
If I am back in the area, I will visit again and hope for a different experience.

We were at Seneca Lake in State Park mid-October and enjoyed walking along the lake with an unobstructed view of the beautiful lake. The walk went from a playground area all the way to the visitor center in Geneva. People were also biking and roller skating in the area. The park is large with sports fields and places to gather or picnic. The day we went to the park there was no one at the entrance booth to pay an entrance fee.

Zugibe Vineyards is a great venue for a party. There is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating on the covered back porch overlooking Seneca Lake, a great place to enjoy the sun set. There is different wine, beer, and other beverages available for purchase. We were there for a welcome reception and a caterer provided food for the event.

Rose Hill Mansion is not only beautiful but full of a rich history of the families who lived there over the years. We took a tour on a Thursday morning and were the only two touring the home at the time. Our guide, Nancy, was very knowledgeable and shared many interesting stories about the farm and families. We were pleased to see that many of the pieces on display actually were used by people who lived in the home. Other homes we have toured simply fill the space with period pieces from anywhere. The mansion is well-preserved inside and out. The bonus was seeing the original kitchen, as well as the second floor of the home.

My wife and I along with our daughter and boyfriend had selected some wineries to explore in the Finger Lakes region. We've had Ravines wine in the past and decided to reserve a tasting session with them.
From start to finish it was an enjoyable experience. We enjoyed the wines and the discussion with staff members.

Belhurst Castle is a beautiful venue for a wedding. There is a spacious lawn overlooking Seneca Lake where one may have a ceremony and cocktail hour in good weather. It is an excellent place for photos too. From there one may go inside to one of two ballrooms on site for the reception. The food served for the reception was average. One server was short with me when I mentioned that they removed our dessert forks before dessert. Coffee and tea service was self-serve.

Very fun. The fire place was going and was a welcome feeling on a cold dreary day. The decorations are fun to look at along with hearing how this winery was created. The owners are very personable. Their wines are tasty along with some unique names. Good job

This was our last stop of the day. Since wineries close between 5 and 6, we decided to stop here since they're open until at least 8:00. We sat outside on the balcony, then at the bar, and the service was fantastic. Friendly staff always making sure you had another drink. They have free popcorn. Can't beat that. They also had great entertainment. We stayed until he was done for the evening, since he held our interest. We also met some great people while sitting at the bar. Everyone was super nice. You have to use the bathroom when you're there. The sinks are "udderly" interesting. Apparently, part of this brewery is old. We asked about it, but no one seemed to know the history. We found this to be true at several other locations. Why aren't staff taught the history of the place where they're working? Seems like something they should know if asked. Just and observation, but it didn't detract from our experience.

We tasted the red wines here. Cab. Franc, Blaufrankisch, several others. They were all pretty good. There is a nice outdoor patio area in front of the building - overlooks Seneca Lake across the street.

Tasting and wine purchase; friendly and attentive service on the patio. 2020 Syrah was our favourite! But all of the wines are excellent.

This is probably one of the most beautiful visitors' centers I have visited. It is right on the lake and has a cafe. The only thing it does not have much of is brochures. Beautiful visit but not informational.

Good food, quick service and in interesting venue.
The food menu is fairly simple: burgers & sandwiches, salads etc. She had a Patty Melt, I had the Twisted Burger. We shared the fried green beans (I ate most of them, they were GOOD & Different).
Order at the bar, you get one of those buzzing things & pick up your own food at the window. Our service was superb! 😉

The old theatre retains enough touches to be recognized as a theatre, the brewery is largely visible too.

excellent ciders, excellent atmosphere, excellent people. We left feeling like a local. It was the best cider we had on the trail we were following.
