What travelers are saying
- preciousness22United States768 contributionsAll of the Hampton beaches are stunning. You will travel through some of the most expensive, beautiful areas in the entire United States to get to these beaches. They do get crowded and parking can be tricky. You will most likely need a permit for some parking, but once you get there, it is well worth it! It a great people watching place with fun, loving, beautiful people! It is definitely one of Long Island's treasures!Written March 25, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- JoshInDCWashington DC12 contributionsWhat a breathtaking place. LHR made such an impression on me. The grounds and gardens are absolutely beautiful. This is a must visit for just the sculptures or just the botany and landscapes. But you get both. The passion behind it all is just amazing. And I love their inclusive approach. For example, at Glenstone in Potomac, MD, children aren’t allowed and that seems a bit pretentious. Here there are signs posted at some of the sculptures that note that they are not roped off for the sake of better viewing and to “help children appreciate Art by looking, not touching.”Written October 14, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- giorgitdNashville, TN212 contributionsSuper interesting visit to the workshop and home. Our docent was fabulous and the visit was far more interesting with her narration. The floor of the workshop looks like art and is worth the visit by itself.Written June 19, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- StephenCrossDublin, Ireland16,906 contributionsWe arrived at 446 Old Stone and it’s a little tricky to find as it’s off the main road. There is parking outside but February it seems to have limited hours of opening.Written February 22, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- StephenCrossDublin, Ireland16,906 contributionsNot a great name but a place that’s sells great fresh products and fruit and it’s a proper farm. RecommendedWritten February 22, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.

- JWNewYorkCityEast Hampton, NY231 contributionsThe House dates from the first quarter of the eighteenth century. It is situated on the village green in the center of colonial East Hampton. And while you are at it, it is also a perfect time to visit the Pantigo Mill as it stands behind Home Sweet Home. Construction began in 1804. The Hook Mill was built in 1806 and the Gardiner Mill was completed in September of 1804. The timber for the mill was cut from Gardiner's Island. The Gardiner Mill is open by appointment only.Written April 11, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- broadwaycritic1New York City, NY81 contributionsBeautiful county park- with miles of paths and a rocky, rustic beach. Plenty of picnic tables and a very large parking lot. Lots of open space in the northwest section of East Hampton. Nice for walking and just sitiing on the beach overlooking the Bay.Written April 14, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.

- StephenCrossDublin, Ireland16,906 contributionsNice place outside of East Hampton on the way to Sag Harbour. Peaceful area but somewhat isolated. Tennis school here.Written February 23, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Ann CUnited States518 contributionsThe house offers insight to East Hamptons past but it is short and sweet. The gentleman on site was warm and friendly and very talkative. We looked around politely but it didn't grasp us too tightly!Written May 13, 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Lolly’s LookNew York City, NY12,784 contributionsThe Bookhampton has a small but nice dejecting of book titles to pick from when you are out in the Hamptons. I still find reading a “book” versus a tablet much more relaxing.Written July 13, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Ilana LShelter Island, NY1 contributionEco Camp is the best combination of physical activity, nature and science. Kids get to hike, explore and discover the outdoors. Mark is a gifted teacher who knows how to connect with kids, engage their imaginations, and inspire them. After a day at Eco Camp, our six year old comes home elated, telling us all all about his adventures of the day. He’s been enrolled for a year, and it’s still his favorite activity.Written April 28, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.

- Laurie HLisbon, Portugal22 contributionsWeekend Warriors took a large group of about 12 of us (moms and kids (ages 9-13) on a SUP tour in South Hampton area...phenomenal experience. Our whole group had a blast, and Eric was a truly outstanding guide. Very good w the kids, very accommodating, very educational, etc. After testing the group and their abilities/comfort level , Eric allowed some to canoe and some to SUP. Half way through, Eric took us on a tour of the mini island and showed us crabs and other interesting things.Written October 19, 2015This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
