Amazing experience - even better staff. This is a must for baseball fans. The museum is loaded with amazing displays and inspiring stories. Where else can you stand in Hank Aaron's locker? The staff went out of their way to make this an enjoyable and memorable trip for my son and I. They were so helpful and accommodating - taking pictures and helping us see all there was to see. The whole town is a baseball dream come true. Come ready to buy a souvenir or two as well. The shops are loaded with unique baseball memorabilia and merchandise.

Accurate without being silly. I loved Colonial Williamsburg when I visited years ago, but the docent staff were a little too into their characters. What was great about Farmers was the expertise of the staff but they were willing to talk like they were from this century. A truly enjoyable learning experience. A large and eclectic experience and I highly recommend . I didn’t expect to see the Cardiff Giant

Take the cruise on the Glimmerglass Queen - it's a peaceful hour and you get to see the whole lake and hear a little history of the area.

Terrific museum with so much to see. From the core collections of native American art and artifacts to the special exhibits of art of Venice to drawings and sketches by the Wyeths to pen and ink caricatures by Al Herschfeld. Views of Lake Otsego from the museum patio are an added treat.

My son and i visited Hyde Hall today (5th time for me and 2nd time for him). Our tour guide was fantastic. We were able to start the tour at the side entrance and explore as the family would have instead of as guest. It was a much more personal look into the family and home.

If you like beer you have to visit Ommegang. They were just reopening and a brewery tour was not possible, however, we stopped by for lunch and a tasting in their outdoor dining area. Enjoyed the food and our server was very knowledgeable; he had been with the brewery for years and had some interesting stories to tell. Most breweries seem to be located in industrial areas but this one is out in the glorious upstate NY countryside. There is a gift shop and beer is sold in cans (4 packs).

This is a great gym. Indoor pool, rock climbing wall and tons of exercise equipment and space. What a tremendous community resource, especially in the colder months.

Come for a great tour and overall explanation of the methods for distilling spirits. The tour master, owner, founder, Eugene Marra, is a Master at his trade. I know him well. He's my brother. But don't take my word for it, see for yourself! We recently RE-visited with family, children and grandchildren, and thoroughly enjoyed our experience the second (or was it third?) time around. And don't forget, the proof of the "pudding" (whiskey, bourbon, gin, vodka, etc. etc.) is in its taste. Enjoy!

I came here to hear a live band the night before Jeter‘s induction. There is a food truck and the chicken barbecue sandwich with cheese and bacon was one of the best chicken sandwiches I’ve ever had. The IPA was a little light for my taste but not bad overall. The red shed has a pleasant outdoorsy vibe.

I have never been to a wax museum before. I thought it was interesting and my kids loved it. But also a little creepy and weird. I kept thinking if Night at the Museum for some reason. It’s well done and takes under an hour. Certainly different.

Cooperstown is a very walkable town,
After visiting museums, brewery, restaurants, etc a stroll through this idyllic village is a must.
