- Karen P4 contributionsWow, incredible museum! The first room we walked into was the train layout. The towns on the layout represented the nearby towns, and the car crusher, the drive-in, the carousel, the coal mine, just fabulous! Another room had the birds and wildlife in natural settings, really well done. The actual mansion on the second and third floor had some gorgeous furnishings and artwork. And the planetarium---great show! Lots more to see here, well worth the trip, if you are in the area, don't miss this museum.Written October 8, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - PCFL113Walla Walla, WA20 contributionsI love this park. I am posting to warn visitors that there have been many vehicle break-ins. Be careful everyone: put your valuables out of sight and lock your cars.Written July 4, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - SpanishteacherMDEllicott City, Maryland2,192 contributionsFor a fun night out while in Binghamton, take in a Rumble Ponies game at Mirabito Stadium. Easy to find. $5 to park and there's plenty of it. Close to downtown. Minutes from Vestal. My wife, son, and I wanted to relax our first night in Binghamton. Tickets were incredibly inexpensive (less than $30) for the first row in the second section behind home plate, Section 100. Only about 2,600 people were at the park the night we were there. Lots of food and beverage choices throughout the concourse. Lupo's has a place out near the patio in right field, if your up for a spiedie. The team store is fantastic, and even had some memorabilia from when the tenants were the B-Mets. Lots of cool jerseys, hats, shirts, other stuff that collectors will love. Super sight lines throughout the park. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Ponies lost the night we were there, but it was fun nevertheless. Lots of in-between inning entertainment; the club has a ton of people getting the fans involved as well. Large inflatable bouncies as well available for the little ones. Highly recommend if you want a fun night out in the Southern Tier. Go Ponies!Written June 28, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Kathleen W2 contributionsOur visit was so informative and interesting. Tom, our personal tour guide included in admission fee, was excellent. He was patient answering questions. Both my husband and I have parents who worked for IBM. Anyone with IBM connections visiting Binghampton MUST come see this museum and tour!!!Written September 1, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Chelsea LFort Edward, NY128 contributionsMy little guy had the best afternoon here I wish we could have spent more time and if we are back in the area we will definitely visit again ! He loved everything especially dressing up and shopping in the grocery store ! The outside is amazing as well and he would have spent hours riding the bikes and cars around the little road area , moving the stop sign and red lights around !Written September 18, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Davin DSan Antonio, TX840 contributionsWe were able to take the kids to the carousel and create some lifelong memories. There are not too many kids in this world these days they get to ride carousels like they did in the old days.Written November 23, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Lis6al48 contributionsThere is not a bad seat in the whole theater. There are many great shows, but the bathroom lines are lengthy at intermissions as they are small and dated. Limited conscession area and the seats are decently comfortable, but do not accommodate larger sizes well.Written June 19, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - K.H.MorganBinghamton, NY20 contributionsLocated a few country miles outside Binghamton. Easy U-pick apples and berries in season with a great view from the top of the orchard. Stop in to the quaint restaurant for some fantastic breakfast, lunch, fresh homemade doughnuts, breads and cookies. The home fries, homemade soups, sandwiches, and desserts are fantastic. The cider it great also. Get some hot doughnuts to go..can't stop nibbling.Written December 29, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Thomas CBinghamton, NY276 contributionsMy wife and I stopped here during out attempt to do the Carousel Circuit. First thing you notice is that this is a very large park. There is a very large play area for the kids. Everything appeared to be in very good shape and looked pretty new. The carousel that was the main reason for our visit was pretty good. The worker didn't seem too passionate about being there but did their job fine. We also walked around the park. It looked like it had a nice pool though it was pretty empty the day we were there. There are also several ball fields. One sad part is that there are tennis courts but they have been shut down for a few years as they try to fix them.
One thing to mention is that it has a little bit of a bad reputation. We were there during the day and I felt fine but I am not sure it is the best place to be as it gets dark.Written September 3, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Our mistake was trying to go in the winter, should have read reviews that it wasn't open at the moment. Oops! Currently it's disassembled for maintenance and I think being moved to a new location is what I heard. Would have been sweet to go for a ride :)Written February 11, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
