Talented and absolutely wonderful staff!
The gallery is pretty large, not huge but definitely larger and more full than many galleries I have been to. There was a lot to look at, with layers and layers of art.
Both staff members that day had their own art displayed, and both were extremely talented as well as very open and pleasent to talk to!
The gallery showcases local artists, and has classes, so I believe many more people, (even if they may feel a bit amatuer) can have a place to showcase their art. This means a lot to me since I recently lost a few very talent artists in the family who never did showcase their art publically, and just never knew how, despite being very talented. Anyway, if you are a local with art you may want to contact these people, and see if some time of the year you can get yours up there or partake in what they have going on some how because it all seems run with a lot of care, openness, and love, along with a love for all artists and different mediums.
The man who was there today painted with his wife, and his section had lovely realistic looking relections of sun on water, and landscapes from their world travels.
The woman who was there today had mixed medium using recycled wood and glass, plus paint and other mediums to make some very uplifting pieces of art.
If you are looking to decorate with Halloween pumpkins and need some more unique ideas this Oct, this is definitely the place to go as they have some really cool horseshoe pumpkins, some really lovely pumpkins on canvas for $25 (one was blue which was really pretty!) and a really cute/cool 3 piece pumpkin set of pumpkins painted onto wood chunks with cute little wooden pumpkin tops. But yeah hurry because the prices are decent and the stuff is super cute so it could disappear pretty fast.
