- Lindsay2 contributionsGreat gallery, that features Balinese and other Indonesian artists. I bought 2 pieces by Yoga Raharja and the gallery was very helpful throughout the entire process. Would definitely recommend!Written October 20, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- ezyBali, Indonesia2 contributionsSeminyak Beach is a popular tourist destination located on the west coast of Bali, Indonesia. The beach is known for its golden sand, clear blue water, and stunning sunsets. It is a great place for swimming, sunbathing, surfing, and other water activities.Written March 8, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Mark DNewcastle, Australia2,322 contributionsLove 66 beach in Seminyak. The beach is surrounded by some great restaurants & hotels with plenty of options. Best time to visit is after the rain season, end of march until August.Written March 13, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Off their PManchester, UK3,944 contributionsThis crazy street ran parallel to our accommodation, and so we walked up and down it a lot. It was never, ever dull and every time you go on it. You see something different.
It was the centre of everyone as our evenings. Choose from one of the bars, happy hours, take a seat at the front and watch the chaos that ensued.
How there is not a road, rage incident every couple of minutes, I do not know. Certainly, back home, people would not show the same amount of tolerance or patience, and it is nice to see.
There are lots of bars and restaurants of varying quality and the usual amount of totes, trying to sell you anything from Viagra to corn on the cob!
Take it in the right spirit, if you can ensure you visit, it and enjoyment is pretty much guaranteed!Written February 15, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The prices are fixed which is understandable.
Excellent quality plus they come in a very durable plastic tube for protection during transportationWritten January 20, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. However on second thoughts I realised that with livelihood so cheap and affordable here I am sure slot of expats and foreigners have made this place a second home. And in doing so why do the artists need to stay behind which resulted in mushrooming of so many Art Galleries in the beach town of Bali.
I stepped into 'Positive Negative Visual Gallery' as it was in Seminyak itself where I was staying and I loved the fact that this quaint gallery attracted so many visitors. There were plenty of paintings on display and the host was mingling with all with elan. I was glad I visited this place. It is certainly one off the beaten track.Written December 16, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Once inside our senses were bombarded with every possible object imaginable from countries near and far. There were alters, pottery, fabric, tapestry, jewelry and carvings just to name some of the exquisite and rare pieces to be found, all reasonably priced. Everything was authentic and nothing had the look of mass production. Every single corner of the shop holds something interesting or beautiful and you should take your time and drink it all in. I wish I had taken pictures, but the beauty lives on in my memory.Written April 7, 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - xanthe101Sydney, Australia73 contributionsWe walked past this place on the way to dinner, it was closed but the beautiful displays in the window stopped us in our tracks! The next day (and our last day in Bali) we went back as we fell in love with one of the artworks.
The team were so lovely and happy to give us the time to make a decision about what we wanted. The artwork we chose was stretched on a frame and they took it off and packaged it beautifully for us to take on the plane ride home.
Great artwork, great staff, I would highly recommend a visit! If for no other reason just to see some beautiful works.Written October 9, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It’s got great air conditioning though. Nice for a break from the hot streets of Seminyak.
Seems like the mall is still recovering post Covid.Written February 16, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - GolferladyCGNCologne, Germany23 contributionsReally a nice gallery and a good place for getting nice Asian/Indonisian things. Expensive and unfortunately the managing lady was not very friendly. - DESHPANDE SMunnar, India8 contributionsIts not a 'flea market' its a regular market with high priced, cheap quality stuff. This place may be popular with visitors staying in seminyak for long durations.
Not at all worth spending time hereWritten November 25, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Ketut was responsive and provided me clear time frames and prices based on my enquiry. I took two blazers and a pair of pants over which Ketut tailored and replicated making two new suits for me in a wonderful wool fabric. Ketut took around 4 days for the first fitting to be ready and then an additional 24 hours for the final product. The quality was great for the price and I will definitely come again on my next trip.Written March 9, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - FunsandraPort Coquitlam, Canada18 contributionsWhat a hoot! I went there last night, single white straight Canadian female, and had just a blast! Loved the show, and just adored the fun attitude of all the patrons. Danced my butt off! Had a great time! I will say they made my margarita out of arak which kind of sucked, but everything else was so amazing I counted as a one off. Will probably be there again tonight!Written March 16, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
