#3 of 52 things to do in Franschhoek
We go back every time we visit Franschhoek because we get an insight into what it is like to run a smaller wine farm as opposed to a larger, touristy one.The farm is run by Francois and Elise and is a gem.
The setting outside under the oak trees was lovely and Francoise and Elize were the perfect hosts, going above and beyond to make us feel very much at home.

Set away from the crowds of the wine tram or bustle in the village, Stony Brook is a tranquil tasting experience expertly carried out by either Liza or the Joy who is one of the owners.
... wine from Joy at Stony Brook for many years and the wines are always very interesting and seem to cater for every taste, which is fairly unusual and certainly makes going there for a wine tasting worthwhile!
