- OceanaRoseBaltimore, MD3 contributionsI went to see the birds and butterflies. As one approaches there are signs indicating that turtles may be crossing the road. Cute. I drove in and there was no one else to be seen. I turned around at the end of the road to approach the parking area and there was an enormous black snake in the road. AAAGH! Once the screaming died down and I gained control of myself I drove to the parking area and noticed that the visitor center was closed, one assumes because they recognize the danger of this serpent. As I exited the area I drove by a marshy area with a white bird (had legs and a beak, LMK what kind that is), and had to pay $2 to a man at the top of a bridge. I would have paid a lot more to get out of there. An authentic experience. Beware.Written August 31, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - PriscillaFreehold, NJ28 contributionsWe rented 4 low-riders. We were worried our 6 year old was too small for the low-rider but luckily the attendant fit him on a junior low-rider. The attendant was friendly and helpful. Great bikes kept in good condition. We had no issues and enjoyed our ride down the boardwalk and bike path.Written September 29, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - JG717Harrisburg, PA654 contributionsNice course laid out well. It was pretty empty when we went through. Place was clean. Some holes were challenging with water hazards. Would play here again.Written September 21, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- melawhiteMount Laurel, NJ47 contributionsThis place has three attractions. The mirror maze takes about 10 minutes or longer depending on how lost you get. The laser maze takes about 5-7 minutes including the set up. You can choose challenge levels from easy to difficult. The last attraction was a series of buttons that you have to push as they light up. You run around a small area as they light. Both the laser and light challenge can accommodate 2 people at a time. The rest of your party can wait and watch as it is a small area. We bought the package that allows you to do all attractions twice per person. Must be used by the same person since they give you a wrist band. We did find this a bit expensive though since it’s a very quick process, especially in comparison to the boardwalk rides.Written July 17, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Tara C1 contributionMy family recently did the pirate cruise and it was very enjoyable and entertaining. My 3 year old is really into pirates right now and loved it. Kids get a tattoo and an eye patch, and after we found the treasure he got to keep some! Had fun shooting the water cannons at the pirate (you might get wet too). Definitely recommend.Written June 28, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Dennis_MicheleBriarcliff Manor, NY89 contributionsHaving tried Lakeview Waverunners last year my son and I decided to give Wildwood Waverunners a try this year. While Wildwood Waverunners and Lakeview are equal in price, Wildwood gains a slight advantage as they allow riders to enter the central area of their "track" to play with their craft, doing tricks such as donuts or just taking a brief pause. Wildwood also has a slightly better docking experience as you board via platforms rather than straight from the dock. Wildwood's session is 45 minutes but that's to allow transit time to the riding area. Otherwise riding time is essentially the same. Lakeview's main advantages are that they offer photo services and are centrally located in Wildwood Crest. Bottom line is that the extra minutes spent getting out to Wildwood's location is absolutely worth it.Written August 29, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Manczka6 contributionsWe took four teen boys to go crabbing and kayaking. The staff was courteous and helpful in teaching the kids how to work the crab traps and kayaks. We caught about 10 crabs. If they are a certain size you can keep them. There is a sink and tools to help with crabbing. Buckets are $5 extra. We went on a weekday so it was not super busy. Kayak rentals were for an hour which was a perfect amount of time. Restrooms are port a John’s but they were clean and convenient. I’d go back in a heartbeat. It was a fun time.Written June 26, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
