What travelers are saying
- Debra SHenderson, NV45 contributionsFall colors in November walking around with a livelong local, working professor; it couldn’t be better! We’re lucky enough to see the elusive Black Squirrel of Princeton on campus. Architectural beauty, historic charm, and vast views make it a perfect tourist destination.Written July 18, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - kamakshi2015Bengaluru, India1,857 contributionsThe best library with a great community service . I went there last first time and the treasure trove of a great library with the vast collection of various languages . The swanky library is located almost walking distance from the university . A courtyard of fine eateries surround its entrance . Within the library there a dainty cafe . The leisure seats and the computers gives you a chance to soak in to world of books . Major newspapers , magazines and community news papers are available even for non members like me . The membership is needed to borrow books . There is also a tiny spit within library one can buy donated books for a nominal amount . The library occupies 3 floors . There are community events organised for all groups . A great blessing . It’s well connected to Main Street Nasau st -Providing the shuttle bus within walking distance . A must visit place and be a regular there . Every Thursday there is a farmers market .Written June 9, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Roam193516066184 contributionsContrary to their website, this museum is closed. They are building a new art museum on campus. Not scheduled to open until summer of 2024. Again, I reiterate this museum is not open at the present time. It is however worth walking around the campus. It’s spectacular!Written June 28, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Cheri DYardville, NJ481 contributionsAlways a delightful place to visit with a lot of rich history. It's on the National Historic Landmark list and was home to Richard Stockton, one of Declaration of Independence signers and once was the NJ Governor's homes. There are always standing displays in the home and displays that change such as the Striking Beauty: NJ Tall Case Clocks: 1730-1830, the current temporary exhibit that I visited most recently. NJ has such quite a history with a number of clock makers who resided here and made such beautiful time pieces. Christmas is also a nice time to visit to see the annual Festival of Trees. Many more events are held here throughout the year. It truly is a year round place to visit with much to offer. They also have a small gift shop on the premises with lovely items to purchase.Written February 12, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Saurabh W4 contributionsThe lake is the best place in Princeton for a calm and quiet run/conoeing/evening walks. The conoeing per hour service is amazing to explore and helps to get out of busy schedule!Written November 3, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - JessieVirginia238 contributionsIf you're into cemeteries, this is a must-see! There are so many famous people buried here, as well as less famous people who are still very fascinating. A headsup, the map they provide to find specific graves is a little hard to understand at first. Eventually my sister and I got decent at reading it, but still had to ask for help a couple of times.Written May 22, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - urbanguyRichmond, VA5,008 contributionsThe Church was built in 1955-1956 in American Gothic style. In front, there is a marble statue of St. Paul that is ten feet tall.
