They are tucked away sometimes, ready to be discovered and will delight you when you find them. Set up similar to an antique shop but with varied and all new retail items. Gifty items and mostly higher quality than what you find on the boardwalk. - JCN5 contributionsThis was my third visit to Glazed Over Studio on Asbury Avenue in Ocean City, NJ. Just as my prior visits, they did not disappoint. Overall, a truly outstanding experience.
a) The studio is warm and welcoming. The studio is well lit and there is plenty of room to get creative. The tables are large and create a comfortable, creative environment.
b) the workers were very attentive to my needs. They had an excellent selection of colored glazes and wide selection of brushes and materials. The workers were very knowledgeable and approachable. The staff was not pushy or overbearing.
c) they stock a WIDE variety of different ceramic pieces from which to choose. From simple plates and coffee mugs, to beach /surfboard style items, to elaborate holiday pieces, to cars and trucks, to pieces geared toward young children, Glazed Over Studio had it all, in many price points. I recently painted a mug and an antique "light up" holiday truck. (See photos).
d) My pieces were ready when promised. They have two on-site kilns and my pieces were beautifully fired and ready when promised.

We have a real appreciation for her, the original folks that manned the US Life Saving Station 30, and for the team that made this museum possible! - Lauren SChalfont, PA122 contributionsIt’s a bit pricey for what they offer if you are a teen or an adult. There are only a few slides. For little kids, there is a really nice pirate ship with slides and water shooters all over the place. My kids loved this park as young children but as teens, they have outgrown it. The lazy river is pretty nice. If you do pay for the all day pass, make sure you use your mini golf tickets that are included. It is actually a nicer course than Congo Falls. I am giving it a 4 not 5 because of the high cost for what you get combined with the bathrooms being in bad shape. But if my kids were younger, I would return. - Joseph COcean City, NJ244 contributionsWhat a great little art shop. A real hidden gem on Ocean City. A bit off of the main drag, but worth seeking out. All original pieces from local English artist Tony Troy. Also a great place to get locally made jewelry pieces. Recently Tony produced a children's book called "Mice and the Moon". Locally it has been a real hit. Definitely worth stopping in to meet Tony and to see what finds he has for sale.
