Super torn here. The beach was gorgeous and almost empty, even in July, parking was easy, and we didn't have to far to walk.

But as a Floridian who's lived near some of the most beautiful beaches in the country, I just can't get over charging people to visit. Even our local national seashore only charges per car what Cape May charges per person. For brown sand.

Glad I visited, but it's not a place I'd intentionally vacation.

You have rest stops on the way up. Should be in fairly good shape for the climb. They have a gift shop and a small museum with interesting information and displays

What a fun outing for our family - ages 2 to 60! We loved it all - from feeding the alpacas, to learnng about their habits, to visiting the little crafy shop on the premises. A wonderful ending to our long weekend in Cape May. Make reservations in advance - we left all feeling happy and love reviewing the photos.

This is a very cool museum that helps to tell the story of how World War II impacted not only Wildwood but all of the Jersey Shore. Plenty of interesting information and exhibits and a wide variety of aircraft and other items on display. It makes for a perfect break from the beach.

Still a vibrant fun atmosphere with no vacant stores and a nice mix of stores. It has some restaurants, ice cream stores, novelty shops, a bakery, an art store, clothing shops, a lingerie shop. a toy store, an Irish bar, a fudge factory and a five and dime. Many benches to sit which was appreciated. A local police officer came up to me politely to enforce the no dogs rule but said "have a nice day" when I informed him that it was a support animal. A directory would be a nice addition for those seeking a specific store. There were plenty of flowers which were well attended. The area was clean though I did not see any maintenance personnel. Compares to other downtown malls that I have visited.

This was a great ending to our Cape May trip. The weather was perfect with a nice breeze and the setting was magnificent. The seating area is beautifully maintained and is adjacent to the vineyard. Our dog was permitted to be with us. New friends we had just met at a dog park also came here and I believe they also had a great time. After having their Syrah at dinner three nights ago, my wife and I decided upon a carafe of Cabernet which was a good accompaniment to our lunch. First of all, the tuna poke tacos were just incredible...soooo good! My wife had the brie and blackberry dish which was thoroughly enjoyable. Of course, we had to have a the cheese board which was also a hit and some tasty nuts. There was a gift shop that had some knicknacks and sweatshirts. The last time here, I sat on the balcony which was not available this trip but our seats outside were even better.

We had a great tour of this house. Our tour guide was Harry who was wonderful. He was very informative of the family and staff who lived in the house. Many very interesting pieces from the time around the house.

My teen Girl Scout troop did an marine ecology lab. We put on waders and went into the water with seine nets. Emily explained what the girls needed to do and provided information about each sea critter what was caught. Returning from the beach, we sat in the lab and got to hold and learn about horseshoe crabs. The troop really enjoyed the hands on experience!

Interesting part of WWII history, and the 'eternal flame' came as a complete surprise behind the tower.

Not popular for swimming as there are no lifeguards. Also, the Nature Conservancy protected area is right here. Please obey the signage and stay out of the fenced area. Wonderful beach to walk along, solo r with your significant other.
    Enjoy, Gene H.

If you are into birding and have but one place to visit, this is it! Owned by the Nature Conservancy, but open to the public. The Cape May Bird Observatory runs walks led by brilliant, brilliant people. Go! The outdoors, the ocean, the marshes. Just wonderful!

In a reconstructed firehouse on Washington Boulevard, we decided to look in. The door was open and we found a beautiful 1927 American LeFrance fire engine. The building also had a variety of awards and patches from numerous fire houses from around the country. This is worth going to especially if you have young children....
