- Rick C7 contributionsWe enjoyed going to the museum. They have a great display of the early settlers artifacts and historical pieces and an awesome walking tour to the out buildings. They include a church, livery stable, and victorian house. We enjoyed the local school kids artwork displayed throughout the museum.
The museum is free and is definitely a must see while you are in Winnemucca.Written March 24, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Easy access from the highway.Written September 29, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- jay h11 contributionsThe rooms were pretty good. Stayed 3 different weeks for work, called in advance but assigned to 2nd & 3rd floors. Never could get a room on the 1st floor. No big deal. There is a restaurant down stairs. The food is pretty good-both breakfast & dinner. Never gambled but that's an option. Pretty decent rooms a good room price for the value compared to the rest of town. Was disappointed conservative & Ukrainian news channels were censored. Heard multiple excuses why only those wouldn't work-none seemed consistent or legit. Finally gave up after 3 weeks, left down the street & stayed at the Winemucca Inn. A little higher rate but a little better all around-all cable channels worked fine-same provider.Written June 20, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Fabricio T5 contributionsJust a nice painting on the wall. No more to add. Really hard to find enough words for a 100 words review.Written September 24, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Trek-AlwaysAlpharetta, GA2,510 contributionsBeautiful landscape and environment. The dirt road is completely fine and safe (unless extremely wet). There is a nature trail that is not doable because the two bridges along the trail are out. There are several picnic spots and we enjoyed one with a great view. Not far from town. Fun to explore this place.Written May 21, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- happy4travelNorthern California1,290 contributionsThis was a great place to just hang out! The staff was totally awesome! It was a brief trip to the top of the hill. The folks were having some kind of party and they invited us to jump right in.....fun, fun, fun. Maybe we’ll see you again someday! - Odyssey796690Watsonville, CA49 contributionsA great place to stop with the kids but it's not even on here! It is a small memorial park with real tanks, airplanes, and cool things to look at from the Vietnam War Veterans. It has a great green grassy area and picnic tables. I loved it!Written October 5, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- SoCalOregonianMurrieta, CA10,254 contributionsThis casino is co-located with a HIE. It must be traversed to enter a good Mexican restaurant. The casino has many slot machines, pool table and large bar. Dropped a couple dollars towards the local economy after dinner.Written September 29, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Beth A2 contributionsMy mare stayed overnight at C Horse Ranch during our move from California to Colorado. Eileen and Terry were so kind and welcoming. The facilities were beautiful and the paddock where my mare stayed was big and clean! They kept a good eye on her and I appreciated the care they took even though we only stayed one night. I immediately felt reassured that my mare was safe while we all rested. Wonderful facility, wonderful people, I highly recommend!Written May 25, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - miniFremont, CA175,444 contributionsWe stopped by to take some photos and took a look in. Its a local dive bar which is in the center of downtown Winnemucca. The name of the bar is for the time Butch Cassidy and the Hole in the Wall Gang rode into Winnemucca, and made the First National Bank President George Nixon open the safe. This happened in September 1900
We also thought the next door place was fun to see - the alien encounter.Written June 7, 2015This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We are staying the night on our way to California and did a search on things to see or do in Winnemucca. This was our first escape room and we loved it! It was me, my husband and our 16 year old daughter. We had so much fun in the Murder at Mucc U room that we stayed and did Dragons Dungeon right after. They have set a high standard for Escape Rooms now!! It was great to work together on the puzzles and clues, a wonderful way to spend a Sunday night. We will definitely be back whenever we are in town and have new adventures to tackle!! Thanks so much. Highly recommend Escape the Mucc!!Written June 28, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- WorldIsYourBackyardHaiku, HI15 contributionsLove this place! I wholeheartedly recommend coming in and enjoying the unique atmosphere. Free popcorn!Written May 2, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Samantha GWinnemucca, NV31 contributionsTickets are not cheap and "matinee" prices ends at 2:59. Need earlier movies on federal holidays like Columbus Day. Need specials. Seats are uncomfortable. Popcorn is usually good. A discount for popcorn refills would balance costs for patrons. Staff is usually friendly.Written October 15, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
