What travelers are saying
- Travel75_12Fremont, CA514 contributionsFar better mall than most we have in the Bay Area. Much larger than expected for its location in Reno. Stores include a wide variety of options. Food choices are my primary reasons for visiting Meadowood.Written May 29, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Rachel CReno, NV473 contributionsThis is directly across the street from the Truckee River and near the Keystone bypass. Beautiful area to walk to, and I've attended a wedding here as well. But another great reason to visit is for Feed the Camel Wednesdays' Food Truck event. Fun middle of the week event to go to.Written August 22, 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- BurienTraveler2014Burien, WA2,145 contributionsThis is my second time painting here at Artists Local 3695. What I like about this place is you get to choose the painting you want to paint. Once you've selected your painting the instructor sets you up with the paints, brushes and more to get you started. With everyone doing their own thing, the instructor has her hands full. Even our husband's joined us tonight.
I believe our instructor was Clarissa. She was so patient and helpful.Written October 5, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Thomas VOakland, CA14,813 contributionsit is a lovely surprise to find so much art in Reno, from the metal sculptures downtown to these great murals in the cool bar district along Virginia. - BigredmachineSalt Lake City, UT2,221 contributionsThis beautiful home was originally built on the corner of California Avenue and Virginia Street. It's owners, Myron and Jane Lake owned a toll bridge built across the Truckee River near the present day New Virginia Street Bridge. The toll bridge was originally built by Charles W. Fuller in 1859 and was sold in 1861 to the Lakes. Reno was once known as Lake’s Crossing, because the bridge and a few businesses were all that one would have found here at that time. You can tour the Lake Mansion where you'll learn that it is an ornate example of the Italianate style architecture. The tour includes all the rooms on the main floor of the historic mansion as well as the wrap-around porch and the art galleries.
When we visited, guided tours we offered Fridays starting at Noon and weekdays, from 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.Written July 12, 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - proofpositive74Reno, NV113 contributionsI stopped in to look at some western art and was met by the friendly lady/owner. She was quite nice. There was a nice variety of art and I even put my name on a list they had, for the artist(s) I'm looking for. Will now make this part of my regular rounds, when I'm on the hunt for another great piece. Can't go wrong at this place.Written October 22, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
