The walk gives you a view of the city and river. The city view is alright, so is the river. There are some nice fountains and the bridge is cool.

This was one of the nicer casinos we went to, clean and well kept. I enjoyed it because I could find a spot where I could play without choking on second-hand smoke.

I’ve been coming to the races for years! It is one of three money making weekends for Reno. So expect hotel rates to be 3 to 4 times higher than their standard rate.

Some spectators bring their RVs and use a dedicated lot (no hookups) for a fee that is outside of the airfield. You can’t see the races from the RV lot so plan on still paying to get in.

You used to be able to pay for food and merchandise with cash or cards. Nowadays, you can only pay with a card. I believe you can still pay with cash or card for your entry ticket though.

Years ago, the entertainment was non-stop. Nowadays, there are definitely some “dead air” periods. General Admission doesn’t get you into the pit area. That’s an extra fee. After the races are done for the day, you can go in the pits with your GA ticket. There’s a fee for parking too. I also believe there are a few shuttles that run from downtown Reno or a couple casinos.

Overall, the aviation entertainment is top notch. The fastest group warbirds has dwindled over the years as it cause a lot of money to run these aircraft. At this year’s races, there was a jet racer crash. When this happens, activities end for the day. Always a good time here as long as a tragedy doesn’t happen.

Lots of people around because this ski area is very close to the city of Reno and the prices for everything are as affordable as you can find. The conditions were good.

A wonderful place to visit and see the rescued animals being cared for by the dedicated staff. The stories behind the reason they have had to be there are heart rendering.
It is a small facility, but worth a visit especially because you’ll be helping to keep this Ark solvent.

Reno did a great job building their river walk. Now they need to deal with the homeless that it has attracted.

It is always a pleasure to come to this unique museum, unique because it celebrates art that represents Nevada. But there is always a special expo here that is worth seeing, this time about a famous architect who has been featured in a PBS special. I had a good time. Unusual architecture.

This place was well with the price. We went on a Wednesday evening discount special of $5.00 pp. I was very surprised at how much there is to do. I would gladly pay full price here (which is still is very affordable). This is fun for the whole family. We plan on going back since there is just so much to see and do. It can be overwhelming. It’s good to walk through with the kids and discuss/tell them about some of the things or it can be a bit of a fun house experience. The whole experience is engaging and everything is well maintained. Definitely worth the visit.

We like the newly updated rooms they now have. Always nice to be able to sit in the indoor pool and relax. The machines on the casino floor need alot of love. Bad buttons broken for months . Have machined with reel tilts and all they do is reset them. Instead of writing them up to get repaired.

We came to the park to see the hot air balloon race. While it's not the same as the baloon festival in Albqureque, it was nice. Several balloons. Beautiful to see the glow show and dawn patrol. They had several vendors and plenty of portapotties. Enoyed our time here.

We went to an Aces game. We had very good seats, but I don’t think there is a bad seat in the stadium. The weather was fabulous. The activities and entertainment provided are enjoyable. The Aces won, which was a plus! I would return in the future. It is a good venue to enjoy baseball. The convenient downtown location gives easy access, as we walked to the game.

If you like Pai Gow, then this is your player's heaven. Many tables. Connected to El Dorado and Circus Circus so plenty to eat as well.

Pretty much like all the other ones in town. There is a lot of smoke, though. Most table games start at $15; craps at $10. The nicer casinos are out by the airport.

This big park is on a lake and provided much-loved green space in a suburban area. Good place for a picnic.
