Beautiful natural area near one of the most unnatural cities on earth. RRC is a gorgeous place to spend some time hiking and visiting the Visitors Center. It was a highlight of our trip to LV. The center has informative and engaging displays and is well worth a stop. The scenery is unique and there are different trails for all levels of hikers. The driving loop has nice rest stops to take in the views for those who want to remain in the comfort of their air-conditioned cars.

Nice view of Vegas. You can get some great pics on this ride. Ride is 1/2 hour long. There are few seats in each pod. I didn't do the drink service. If it's crowded, you can be in a pod with up to 20 people. When I went, we had 10. But pods are very spacious.

This experience by far was the top experience of our trip. This will be 1 attraction that I will continue to do on each return trip to Vegas. The constant revolving is very smooth, for me, unfelt. My friend felt the movement. We were up during an unexpected thunderstorm, and the lightning show Mother Nature put on was fantastic! This is by far a MUST DO while in Vegas!

This is an impressive sight. It's a short drive from Vegas. There is plenty of parking once you cross over the dam and the views are espectacular.

To me this area of Vegas is better than The Strip. Live entertainment, street performers, restaurants, casinos. Lots is visuals too. Once you do The Strip - come here. Different every night. Took and Uber and it was $15 from Ballys hotel. I stayed til 11pm but not sure how late they are open. I think I heard midnight.

This is the second time I visited the museum. It's a lot of fun and tons of interesting artifacts. This will take you around two hours to complete. You have to make reservations before, however we got lucky and got in 15 minutes after we arrived. Definitely check it out!

A great side! We were staying in Vegas strip and the drive is not bad to see Nascar race. The parking lot is a bit of a walk but it’s okay. There are few places to get food before going to your seat and they are all packed.we got bunches of shirts and the line is not bad. Make sure to bring a hat because it gets hot and hydrate too!

Last night I got to tour the Lost Spirits Distillery at Area 15.

It was a pretty cool experience. Definitely different than the other ‘tasting’ experiences I’ve attended before.

It’s described as a “Booze Fantasia” and “The Willy Wonka Of Booze” but while it’s fun and different, those descriptions are a wee bit over the top.

First, it’s their own distilled rum they are serving and they make it on property.

    Nothing else is served.

So if you don’t like rum you’re probably not going to have a good time.

Second, youre given a snifter glass and get 5 1 1/2 oz tastings of their different rums.
If you want more you can get some at their designated bar area for $10.

Tickets are sold with a reserved time for you to enter and are $59 ($49 NV resident/$46.50 military and first responders).

*These tickets do not include their 16 Course Fine Dining Experience. You have to make a separate reservation for that.

The ‘tour’ is good. Dark, low light maze of hallways that are decorated in different whimsical styles. Sort of like a Tim Burton vibe.

The entertainers were pretty good. Kind of like a variety/vaudeville style show in different areas within the halls.

They had burlesque dancers, contortionists, belly dancers, tango dancers, tap dancers, jazz singers.

Then exiting the tour, you enter a room that’s supposed to be a submarine and another room that’s a sitting room with a giant octopus on the wall that looked like something from a James Bond/Spectre meeting room.
(This was probably my favorite room in the place but wish they had more happening in there.)

Check it out if you’re looking for something different to do.

Definitely not the typical stuff on the Strip and the three team founders are really trying to get this experience to the next level.

We had a nice time. It took under 1 hr but was very informative. It was organized well and some neat exhibits to view. Wish it was a bit cheaper.

Definitely for more experienced hikes as there is some climbing with a rope and climbing over big rocks but the end results was beautiful!

Visitors center is very interesting. There are multiple trails to choose from. My wife and I decided to do the Calico Tanks hike and it was a bit more challenging than we expected, but it was well worth the effort. We went in July and started the hike shortly after 6 am and were so glad we did. The hike took about two hours and it was getting hot by the time we returned. There are portions of the hike that are mildly challenging and would not be recommended for someone with small children or fear of heights.

My husband called about 6 weeks ahead of our trip to make reservations. We had serious issues figuring out where to go, since the instructions we were given were: stand by the trunk. The trunk is a 1910 Louis Vuitton steamer trunk, and was very cool, but there was nothing whatsoever to indicate that that particular point of the store was special in any way. Just very weirdly hush-hush and overly subtle.

Once we were retrieved by the hostess, we went through the history/waiver spiel others have described. In our group of six, we all agreed that it was interesting, kind of cool, and extremely awkward as you all just stand there as the various colors wash over you, trying to figure out if you're supposed to just leave on your own, or if there's a specific end point, or what. There is an end point, basically when the colors have cycled all the way around back to the deeper blue that you started with, about 10-15 minutes, the hostess will tell you your time is up, and you can go back and get your shoes.

Ask for Cory! He will go as FAST as you can keep up. Absolutely the best money I have spent on off roading. If you go to Vegas and gambling really not your thing, this one thing will make it worth it.
