- MomOfHatTrickSilver Spring, MD5 contributionsBeautiful natural area near one of the most unnatural cities on earth. RRC is a gorgeous place to spend some time hiking and visiting the Visitors Center. It was a highlight of our trip to LV. The center has informative and engaging displays and is well worth a stop. The scenery is unique and there are different trails for all levels of hikers. The driving loop has nice rest stops to take in the views for those who want to remain in the comfort of their air-conditioned cars.Written August 4, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Chastity C6 contributionsAwesome, just awesome. I suggest you do this before with a nice group of folks. The view was so beautiful at night and with the town of lights it was such a nice few. 550 ft at the very top....Written August 8, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Trvloftenfrwrk4 contributionsThe Las Vegas strip is great but watch yourself! There are shady people along the strip looking for an easy mark so don't be one. Don't over drink, if you have to carry a purse use a crossbody style or a fanny pack. Pay attention to your surroundings. The strip has many wonderful offerings from shopping, dining, museums etc but watch for people trying to take advantage of tourists.Written August 9, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - MandyMCCanterbury, UK335 contributionsWe did this trip at night, which I highly recommend as the fountains were spectacular from this view and angle. Great views!Written July 21, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Veronica HManchester, NH11 contributionsWe went to the observation area of the Strat at night. We had amazing views of Vegas all lite up. The elevator takes you to the 108th floor with us enclosed and has a gift shop, sandwich cafe, and a bar. There are stairs in the middle and kinda hide. That go up to the 109th floor where you can go outside where the view is even better! We would definitely do this again!Written August 7, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Quetail12Chicago, IL24 contributionsOld school casinos without all the glam but still all of the gambling that many come to Vegas for. Many area comes alive at night with different street entertainers.Written August 8, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Take water and snacks, easy to park.Written July 18, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- AnnaManchester, UK95 contributionsWe decided to see this last minute and paid approx 70 dollars to sit at the very back. The view was still great despite being at the back - we could see everything perfectly. The show was breathtaking - probably one of the most impressive shows I’ve ever seen. The stage and technology they use is amazing! They do such clever things with the stage. We were all blow away by it!Written August 2, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- WeathermanfrankSydney, Canada180 contributionsThis is the second time I visited the museum. It's a lot of fun and tons of interesting artifacts. This will take you around two hours to complete. You have to make reservations before, however we got lucky and got in 15 minutes after we arrived. Definitely check it out!Written August 6, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Anderson KWindsor, Canada13 contributionsLas Vegas is known for many things including the casinos featured in different movies, the skyline and how it's next to the dessert. But in my opinion, the sign you see when entering Las Vegas is the most well known thing about Las Vegas. Here in Downtown Las Vegas their is a mini Paris, Venice, Egypt Pyramid and even a Disney hotel. Las Vegas isn't a recommended place at night for children due to inappropriate dancing and gambling. Though the dessert outside of Vegas is a must see. Also with young children, exploring the different hotels is an amazing thing to do to kill time.Written July 27, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Jane MWebster, NY82 contributionsA great side! We were staying in Vegas strip and the drive is not bad to see Nascar race. The parking lot is a bit of a walk but it’s okay. There are few places to get food before going to your seat and they are all packed.we got bunches of shirts and the line is not bad. Make sure to bring a hat because it gets hot and hydrate too!Written July 29, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Ben DavidsonRedondo Beach, CA4 contributionsMy wife and I were visiting Vegas with our 6 and 3 year old daughters and they loved the AdventureDome. Sure, Circus Circus is not exactly the most upscale destination in Vegas, and sure also that $60 per ticket is too much, BUT if you have young kids (but not so young that they're not at least 36 inches tall), this will be a Vegas highlight for them. First, it's all indoors (except for the Go Karts), and when it's 110 degrees out that's very important. Second, lines are short, so they can ride a lot of rides. Third, Canyon Blaster is a real roller coaster with 2 loops, and a pretty long track considering it's indoors. El Loco is also sort of a roller coaster but too short. Most of the other rides are things that go fast in circles but are generally of higher quality than carnival rides. Of course this is no six flags or Disney, but your kids can spend several solid hours here and love it, and you will not be baking in the hot Vegas sun, which is a win.Written June 30, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - jmarlow74Rock Hill, SC340 contributionsMy wife and I visited while driving up from the Mount Charleston retreat. We simply grabbed a coffee at the Bristlecone and watched other skiers come down the mountain. The food was good and the coffee was good. We did not ski so I cannot comment there, but it looked like a lot of fun and it was a quaint small skiing location. It wasn't overly packed with people although the amount of parking was packed and maybe at capacity.
It seemed like a nice little get away from the Vegas craziness.Written February 27, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
