This was a top pick on our list. We really wanted to see this!

When you go in, they give you a "boarding pass" for one of the passengers that was actually on the ship. It tells you a little about the person, in what class they traveled and a QR code. At the end, there is a place to scan the code to find out if you lived.

This was informative and interesting. You need to understand that my son gets bored with museums pretty quick. He really enjoyed this. That is awesome!

There were items from all the class accommodations with little signs telling you about the items - "this is a salt cellar from first class", for example. But there were also things there that absolutely blew my mind! There were items that were wrapped in paper that are still intact with the paper around it still. I find it amazing that the paper was still there!

The "big piece" is just that....and then there is the diagram showing where it was on the boat....just WOW!

I have seen a review somewhere comparing this to a thrift store. I don't know what that person expected to see from a sunken ship, but at no point did I get "thrift store". Most people were very respectful - there were a few older teens running which was distracting.

Quotes from passengers posted all thru the exhibit - some made me cry. Information on how some people ended up on Titanic - that was interesting and new.

This hidden gem was really fun! Wonderful summary of the history of the art of burlesque. Beautiful costumes on display. Great selection of books in the gift shop. Totally worth a stop if you are at all interested.

What an awesome museum. We were taken here by our relatives who live in Las Vegas and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The history and the artifacts and just everything that we saw. There is so much to see and do there.

If you're in McCarran airport and have some time to spare, this baby museum is packed with tons of Las Vegas aviation history.

The displays are educational and each one is packed with lots of reading to keep you busy. The visuals included pilot uniforms, airport and airplane parts artifacts, tons of vintage black and white aviation pictures. This is a nice little stop if you have about 15-30 minutes to spare. The readings are definitely more interesting than the displays themself.

The C & D gate TSA entrances are close by and can be seen from the museum. It's definitely worth checking out once if you're in the McCarran airport. Safe travels!

We enjoyed this museum/exhibit while staying at the Luxor. Very informative and had a lot of things on display. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

This was an incredible experience! I've lived in Vegas over 15 years and had no idea this was here!
The collection of gowns and showpieces, the history of the city and the costumes, everything about this Museum was the best!
Make sure you allow AT LEAST 2 hours to go through although more time would've been great as well.
I definitely recommend putting this near the top of your list of places to visit in Vegas!

I was looking for something to do on the north end of town and I saw SPY STORE! Come to find out it has a little museum inside the store. The display has some military as well as other spy gadgets from ww1 till today! I bought a few keepsakes, books, and a bug finder (finds hidden cameras)

Ah, the Howard W. Cannon Aviation Museum — because nothing says “welcome to Vegas” like a pit stop in a free airport museum! Nestled in Terminal 1, right outside security (so, yes, you can visit even if you're just killing time on a layover), this gem is packed with aviation history. Who knew Las Vegas had such a storied past with planes? Spoiler alert: they do! If you're feeling extra adventurous and want more than the displays in one spot, wander the airport. It’s like a scavenger hunt, but with old airplane parts. And hey, since it’s free, what’s there to complain about?
