- Joe KHatch End, UK36 contributionsDelighted we chose to do this. The whole day was amazing from start to finish from the hotel pick up to drop off. Everyone was so polite and great fun. The helicopter ride to the Grand Canyon was incredible and the view are out of this world. Delighted we spent extra to see it from the air instead of a coach trip. To fully appreciate the canyon it’s gotta be from the air and it’s gotta be 5 Star Helicopter Tours. The kayaking with Blazing Paddles was also incredible, our guide Melissa was outta this world, full of information and put everyone as ease. The views on the Colorado river are brilliant and the kayaking is easy and we were lucky we had a really fun group too. Then great food served on the trip back to Vegas and dropped to our hotel. The helicopter rides were fantastic and fun, the scenic flights were great (although the first officer said there was narration through head sets and it’s just classical music). The pontoon boat ride was awesome and Steve the boat driver was very informative and took heaps of pictures for us. Pick up / drop off transfers were easy to navigate. We were given a VIP pass for the skywalk, which meant we got to go straight to the front of the queue to get in (there was about 200 people waiting) so that was really great. The only downside was the initial wait from getting off the scenic flight (was told 10-15 minutes) however it was an hour, had we have been told this in the first place we might have been able to visit a point while we waited and after the pontoon boat ride waited about 40 minutes.
