My husband I took the Death Valley tour. We were the only two on the trip. We wanted to see as much as we could in a day.
Our guide, Lankun (aka “mama”), is exceptional. She is knowledgeable about the areas we visited and knew the best places to go for great views. Death Valley NP is vast and without a plan for visiting, you could waste valuable time just figuring out what to see.
Lankun was very organized and made sure we had what we needed throughout. She will tailor the visit to your needs and desires. She had plenty of water for us and reminded us to drink it! She let us know which restroom stops were more clean than others.
Lankun took pictures of us at each viewpoint which allowed us to enjoy the views without trying to figure out how to get pictures of ourselves at the locations. I like to take pictures myself and she was helpful in letting me know the best vantage points.
We did some short, somewhat challenging, hikes to viewpoints which were worth the climbs. Wear hiking shoes if you have them.
I highly recommend this tour and if you can choose a guide, ask for Lankun. You will not be disappointed.
