- Abbie M1 contributionThe trip was amazing. Our driver Dierk made our visit worthwhile. It was snowing and foggy but he made us feel safe. He was also very knowledgeable about anything and everything, constantly talking haha! Unfortunately due to the weather we were unable to go to Bryce Canyon but Zion was unforgettable. I am from East Tennessee and had never been past Texas so seeing these amazing sites were incredible. In replacement of Bryce Canyon we went to The Valley of Fire in Nevada. The atmosphere was unworldly. I had never seen such beautiful and strange rock structures in my life. My fiancé and I had a wonderful time but the organization of the trip was hectic. This may have been caused by the weather but no one really seemed to know an exactly schedule. I had also messaged the Nation Park Express people to reach out for help and they seemed to be very short with me. Overall I recommend this trip. - Tabrownmd9 contributionsThe trip began early (6:15AM) as the journey was 4 hours each way. The smaller bus was comfortable and clean. There was an able bus driver with a separate guide. The guide "Tim" was no-nonsense, succinct and thorough. We really liked him. He kept us on-time and was able to move up our tour once we arrived at Antelope Canyon (as we arrived early). Antelope Canyon was breathtaking. Who could imagine such a beautiful place sunken into a mere crack in the earth? It instantly made the long journey worth it. We had a splendid Navajo guide who knew all the best photo points and borrowed our cameras to take our photos many times.
Then we stopped at HorseShoe Bend. It's a bend in the Colorado River near Page, AZ. We walked quite a ways, but the path was wide, smooth and nicely maintained. The views were stunning and something not to miss.
Overall, the trip was fantastic and nicely executed. I wouldn't change a thing. He also allowed the addition of 2 members of my family on the same day. I did the day trip to LA and Hollywood. It was a very nice day. The road was long, but I love seeing the landscapes. The vehicule, a Mercedes van, was very confortable and clean. I was lucky to be able to sit up front. I was able to take a lot of photos along the way and also during the planned stops. On the way, we stopped at an Arco gas station in Upland where we had a change of driver. Maps were given to us for the areas to go. We walked to the Santa Monica Pier, had time to put our toes in the sand and also had lunch at Big Dean's Ocean Front Cafe Santa Monica. We went to Beverly Hills and walked Rodeo Drive and Santa Monica Blvd. We saw the Iconic hotel from the movie Pretty Woman (Beverly Wilshire). We were able to see celebrity homes. On the Sunset Strip, we saw The Roxbury Club (movie Night at the Roxbury). We walked on Hollywood Blvd and could see the Hollywood sign, see the stars on the Walk of Fame (searched for Elvis a lot, he was separate from the other stars and was with the Beatles) and also had time to go to the souvenir shop that our guide had recommended to us, La La Land. Our tour guide, Jose, was very informative throughout the tour. The guide had a great sense of humor. My first language being French, I would have liked to better understand English to understand all its jokes. Jose made us enjoy every moment and thanks to him this day remains unforgettable.
