The music was great. the high heeled pole dancing shoes ROCKED and it was a warm and welcoming environment. - Karthur42Houston, TX3 contributionsI've been to a lot of Vegas spas and this one is small, but quiet, and big on the personal attention. I had a massage on one day and a facial on another. When I arrived both times, I was given a "ticket" to access the spa. I was asked if I needed a safe, or just a locker, and then offered tea, coffee, or water. The spa host gave me a tour and brought me to a locker.
Again, this place is small, so if you're looking for salt rooms, cold plunges, or multiple hot tubs, it's not for you. The trade off is that although there were others there, for the most part, I felt like I had the place to myself.
The amenities are: hot tub, steam room, and sauna. They have two zero gravity loungers near the hot tub and a bunch of sofa-type loungers in the relaxation room. There are "snacks" but they are just granola bars and apples.
My massage was with Giovanna and she was amazing. It was the best massage I ever had! She was very professional and listened to my concerns. My facial was with Shannon, and she was also awesome. Again, personalized service and really knowledgeable service providers are what make this place really shine!
As to why I gave it 4 out of 5: the cellphones. I was really tired of seeing other women in the spa with their cellphones. You're told when you check in that cell phones aren't allowed. However, there were plenty of women breaking the rule and spa hosts said nothing. One particularly annoying moment was watching a spa host give a tour to a woman who was chatting away on her phone. Firstly, the spa was under construction and there are some layout issues as it relates to the spa orientation around the gym and pool. However, massage therapist Ayanna Worthy absolutely made up for any inconveniences. Ayanna was easily one of the best MT I’ve ever worked with. These guided meditations and yoga light are perfect for the masses. Previously, I was into hot yoga and bare foot bootcamps that took you to the edge physically. Kundalini Yoga takes you to the edge of yourself. I find this perfect for me, I'm going through health issues and slowly crawling back from darkness. The yoga is light and easy for first timers and the combination of yoga and meditation is a natural drug that will leave you floating. I suggest anyone who has been thinking of yoga/meditation and is sitting on the side lines, JUST DO IT. I promise you won't feel self conscious or intimidated. The great thing about Kundalini is that any size fits all. We were visiting from Germany and my eleven year old daughter who is an avid dancer wanted to take a couple of classes on the ring and silks and she absolutely loved it. The staff was extremely nice and accommodating. We then mentioned that she has been working on aerial cartwheels but just can't get them. One of the owners Russell told us he could arrange a private class with Vanessa one of the instructors. My daughter had a class with her and it was so helpful and Chiara came back to Germany with almost her aerials. ( Vanessa wrote down a personalised program for her and even followed up with her via whats app ) . The massage itself was great and certainly worth the money alone. I had Cindi who was chatty and friendly. I was more than happy to talk to her during the 50 minute treatment that went so quickly and would recommend her.
However I do think I would rather pay extra for a spa with additional facilities. The hot tub was outside and looked a little miserable. Inside there was only a steam room, sauna, showers and a 'relaxation room' which was a room with sofas and a few magazines. There was water tea and a few pieces of fruit available too. I really know nothing about climbing, but this place seems to have a great variety and awesome for training. My daughter is a natural and went up within minutes on the 5.7 routes. My mom (complete silks newbie) and I took a Silks 1 class and the teacher was amazing at matching our levels. Suwasit taught me an intricate new trick that I'll be able to take home, and my mom had a great time learning to climb and doing foot locks.
