This small museum and art gallery provide an excellent history about the hard lives of swilers (seal hunters ) in Newfoundland and Labrador in the early 20th Century.
We learned a lot, and we gained a great appreciation for the lives of people of the region, the hardships they endured, their courage and their sense of community.
