My son and I had not seen any grizzlies or wolves in Yellowstone so I spent a few hours at the discovery center about a mile from our hotel (Three Bears Lodge-- nice place). Great place to see wolves and otters in particular. Grizzlies are visible but not real close. Other wildlife on the site.

Beautiful drive alongside the Yellowstone River as you go through the park - there are also routes that take you much closer to the river. We missed the river when driving around other parts of the US as it makes for such a lovely view. We also saw deer crossing the river which was great.

We absolutely love the Playmill!!!! We come every year to as many shows as we can because they are so professional and the music is fantastic! This year I saw Brightstar twice with two different groups of friends and family and everyone loved it as much as I did. I hope they bring it back again. Loved Loved Tarzan too!!! Such kind people the cast and the whole Merrill family. Sad the season is over and can't wait to go next summer. My favorite treat here is the dole whip and Heid's fudge!

This area is beautiful and stop at the Visitor's Center to get a good overview of the lake and the events that happened here.

Had an amazing tour of Yellowstone today with Jack Borowiak. He was super knowledgeable and passionate about the park and it’s wildlife. He took us to all the best spots, gave us facts and tidbits about the parks history as well as the animals that lived there. We saw tons of wildlife - Buffalo, Elk, and a grizzly bear (which Jack spotted from the road!) fantastic tour and an incredible guide. Highly recommend!

great views, fishing and boating. Enjoy the beauty of this lake. We have seen a lot of wildlife in the area and fishing can be terrific, especially near the dam.

This snowmobile tour was amazing. We took the canyon tour and it was incredible. Our guide Brenden did an amazing job leading us to the most incredible sites in the park. He took the time to tell us about each stop. These guys really were very professional and organized. They had all the gear needed including lunch if you wanted to order for the trip. Reasonably priced and was a great day. Highly recommend this tour operator. We had a blast. We’re not experienced riders and our guide went at a good pace which made the day fun. Book early because weekends fill up. We can’t wait to go back again next winter. Thanks Two Top for an awesome experience. You guys rocked it!! 🤙🏼

Great fun for the son who wanted to fire the M4 and AK47. I did the Glock 19. Really good ex Marine instructor kept us very safe. Highly recommended for fun in Montana. Good value for money.

This museum is worth visiting for a couple of reasons. The $10 admission fee is worth it to help preserve the building and artifacts, you get to see some beautiful old transportation vehicles, there are great taxidermy animals, and you get tour this beautiful station.

As others have said, there isn't a whole lot to see, but the history of the town is nice to read. The artifacts provide a nice idea as to what life was like before vehicles put an end to train travel.

The videos are well done, though the background music in the Fire video was distracting at times.

I really enjoyed my short visit to this museum and would recommend that you take a look while in West Yellowstone. You should also partake in the historic walking tour, which is self-guided. It brings you to some beautiful hotels. The BEST part of this tour is the fully-restored Pullman car which is housed in the Holiday Inn. What a remarkable piece of history this is.

Definitely support the museum while in West Yellowstone. You won't be disappointed. The one thing I will agree on with another reviewer was the very odd occurrence of an employee coming in to change the DVD right in the middle of my daughter and I watching the video. She walked in, stood in front of us, ejected the DVD and inserted a different one...without saying ONE word to us. It was beyond bizarre and bordering on rudeness. I understand that they may need to stick to a timetable for the movie schedule, but at least iterate what you're doing and why. Also, that same employee and the other employee, whose desks face one another, were speaking very loudly to each other. It made it hard to concentrate while reading the signs and other placards. Those two weird behaviors aside, I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to this museum.

We ended up doing this trail because of my poor planning in that I didn’t realise that the trail we intended to do in the Bechler region would still be under water in June!

The trailhead is on the right hand side of the road about 30 miles North of the West entrance to Yellowstone on the way to Gallatin Gateway. There is a small off road parking area.

The trail is well defined and easy to follow. The first 4 miles or so are through meadows filled with wild flowers and sage bush and goes very gently uphill. There a a number of small streams to cross but all have stepping stones and the bigger ones planks to cross over so you don’t get your feet wet. There were a few wet areas of trail that you can walk around.

After 4mikes you start to go uphill more steeply through a forested area and the last mile after the forested area is steeper still and you walk across the ridge at the stop to where it joins the Skyline Rim trail for great views all around.

We didn’t see anyone else in the 5 hours we were doing the trail. In all it was just under 12 miles out and back.

I can't rate this tour company highly enough (we did two day hikes - one through Bryce Canyon and the other through the Arches)...it was simply amazing. From the ease of texting the guide to the two day hikes themselves, I had every question answered, the people were all so friendly and the tour guide himself (John) so knowledgeable and experienced. John put us and our two young children at total ease...encouraging them to do way more walking than we would ever have achieved with them. I would recommend Good Trip Adventures to anyone. They have struck just the right balance between ecotourism and all-inclusive family fun. Thank you team!

The only way to see Yellowstone National Park is to engage this private tour company. Ask for Dennis!

My sister and I took a trip and wanted to find different way to see the landscape besides highways and hiking. Luckily we found this place which gives full range of the vehicles after safety precaution talks and instructions! They show you different trails to take(which sometimes was hard to decipher on the dirt roads), and even what animals you might see! Unfortunately, we didn't see any animals and even got rained on a little, but we both still wouldn't trade this experience for anything!! The staff was also very friendly and encouraging. Highly recommend!
