Great tour! We went in the morning and so were the only ones so got a great tour just for ourselves. The gal doing the tour was knowledgable! Wonderful to see and hear the story! Bought the book about the Conrads.

We took a road trip from Spokane to Kalispell - spent the night and took the short drive to this nice park. You drive up to the Overlook, at the Interpretive Center - So there is no great effort at all to see the wonderful view of the Valley. You can hike as much or little as you like.

We took approximately a 2 1/2 hour drive around the lake. The weather was rather cool that day so we did not stop too much. There are cherry tree groves everywhere near the lakeshore and even commercial warehouses to handle them. It was too cold for swimming but it was very pretty scenery.

Lovely experience. We booked our boat to the island with Big Arm Boat Rentals and Rides for $45 per person. The staff were lovely and the boat carried us and a small group of 10 other people to the island at 9am. The trip to the island takes only 15-30mins depending on how fast the boat is.

We hopped off the island and were pleased to discover that we actually had to walk off the trails to avoid the animals. 3 times we found ourselves walking around herds of deer and horses hanging out on the trail. We spotted the big horn sheep too. The whole time we didnt see anyone else on the island. It was absolutely gorgeous and I highly recommend taking the grueling hike up to the Outlook for stunning views.

After what felt like the perfect amount of time, we made our way back to Skeeko beach for a 12.30pm boat pick up. All around a great day out and worth the one hour drive down from Whitefish.

Though probably not "technically" allowed... it's a nice place to walk your dog off leash. It's big enough that your pups are not going to bother anybody. Lots of trails and open space to get in a good walk and take care of businesses (poop bags are provided). Watch out for horse droppings.

Although this museum is not very large it was great. My 16 and 18 year old daughters really enjoyed it. It is worth the stop for sure! It was also great to see the guidance counselor for Columbia Falls High School, Mr. Guidi volunteering at the museum. Take a few bucks to spend in the gift shop, they have some nice things.

We're so glad we found this waterpark since Kalispell was in the middle of a heat wave. The lifeguards did a great job of paying attention and dealing with people who weren't following rules (other than the swimming in the lazy river). The pool was in great shape, and there was a separate pool for littles and some waterslides for the big kids. The only problem is that there is absolutely no shade there, so we were burned even with reapplying sunscreen frequently. It's a great community asset and perfect for a few hours with your kiddos.

We virtually had the place to ourselves. The paintings and stained glass exhibits were well described. They have a film on the history of the glacier park and construction of the Going to the Sun Road. We enjoy art and we like to patronize small town museums. If you are like us, you will not be disappointed.

Not much better on a beautiful calm evening, than to hear those loud engines racing around the 1/4 mile oval. Great scenic setting for a race track. There is a family section with no alcohol allowed.

We had dinner and beers at this place; there are two buildings. The brewery itself, which has to close "early" due to license, and the next door restaurant. The restaurant is nice, and provides the same beers as the brewery. The beers are good (get a flight !) and the food is tasty but portions are small.

While Montana has a host of scenic, clean lakes suitable for all water sports and fishing, lack of adequate public access has become a prevalent problem. For locals, the biggest problem has been the loss of the ability to enjoy them spontaneously as visitorship has increased greatly while few new public access areas have been added. Competing with out of the area users through the reservation system has only increased the problem.

Good experience! Very friendly service, decent beer, good food. We had a flight and a bowl, and both were good. The patio is dog friendly but small (a few tables in front and a few bigger picnic tables on bqck). We were thrilled to find they will fill growlers from other breweries, so we could bring a growler with us without needing to buy and haul around yet another growler from a location 20+ hours away from home. (This is a huge perk for us on our travels as we would rather bring local beers with us but don't want to end up with a big collection of growlers we will never use again, especially if we will not make it back to the brewery to trade in the glass for a pint before we empty it. Thank you!!)

Also the peanut sauce and huckleberry sauce for the bowls we tried were both great!!

Great beer and our bartender was also so knowledgeable about the beer as we had adults that were unfamiliar with craft beer and uncertain what to try. The atmosphere is great with live music and bags. Only planned to spend a short time there and one drink but ended up staying most of our afternoon!

Easy to find, beautiful trees, and the owners are very kind and happy to help if you need it. Nice to support local businesses instead of going to big stores.

My husband and I were on a road trip and I saw this garden on TripAdvisor. We had a little time and we decided to visit it. The location is off of 36 but to enter the parking area, you have to go down a side road. This is the backyard of someone's house. It's not big, but it does pack alot in one area. Well worth the visit.
