This was one of the best tours I’ve done. Everything was so well organized and it was great to see Yellowstone without having to worry about doing the driving. The park is huge and has no reception so it was no nice to have a guide who knew where the bathrooms were and was able to show us things we wouldn’t have been able to find on our own.
-Guide was a good driver and always made sure we had water and snacks
-Kilmeny who organized the tour was so helpful and communicative with any questions we had leading up to the trip
-Accommodations at Chico Hot Springs were also great
I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to see Yellowstone but doesn’t necessarily have time to visit for an entire week!

We had an amazing guide Elizabeth that was very knowledgeable about history and geology of the park. We saw geysers, mudpots and the Grand Canyon of yellowstone.we saw many animals: elk, bison and moose. Perfectly timed drive to see Old Faithful and she knew that the other two geysers would be erupting at the same time.

Was awesome! Can’t recommend enough! Both tour guides were professional and thorough. Hit all the major sites on the first day and saw a ton of wildlife the second day. 8 grizzlies, grey wolf, fox, osprey, coyote, great horned owl. Bison, elk moose, mule deer, pronghorn sheep, mountain goat. If you want to see wildlife this is the way to go. Can’t wait to set up my next trip with them hopefully a fishing trip.

We had a wonderful experience with Laura Lyz. We saw two different wolf packs, the Rescue Creek and the Junction Butte. We also saw an eagle and mountain goats. Laura was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. She helped introduce me to wolf guru Rick McIntyre who graciously signed a book I had brought along in the scant chance I would encounter him. What a treat to be introduced! We had a lovely lunch in the area where the very first wolves were brought from Canada in 1996 to be acclimated to Yellowstone. All of the places I’d read about in Rick’s books were there before my eyes. It brought tears to my eyes. Laura also inspired us to hike in other parts of Yellowstone w/o too much fear of bears (just enough though). That enabled us to have some beautiful outdoor experiences after our time with her. I highly recommend this agency and especially Laura Lyz!

We had an amazing day with Brandon. He was a fantastic guide. He knows the land and found some great wildlife for us to view. We saw everything except big horned sheep and wolves. I would highly recommend this tour company they were professional from start to finish!!

John was super informative and friendly. As a park ranger, he had tons of interesting bits of history and information. He took his time and didn’t rush us at all. Great company and wonderful day out

We did a lot of research on tour offerings in Gardiner, and I'm so glad we picked Nolan and Yellowstone Journeys. Nolan was awesome and it was great to see Yellowstone with a true local! The tour was a splurge for our family, but ensured we saw all the wildlife we wanted to see (and more) while on a once in a lifetime trip to Yellowstone! Within just a few hours, Nolan helped us view our first bison, grizzly bear, wolf, mountain goat, and pronghorn. We also saw 2 moose, which is pretty rare. As another reviewer commented, I was surprised at Nolan's ability to carry on conversation in the car with us while also keeping a keen eye out for wildlife. Nolan was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, and has all the knowledge of a local whose family has lived in Montana for generations. He was also patient with our children, and checked in with us regularly about bathroom breaks, wildlife we wanted to see, etc. Tip: We scheduled our tour with Nolan at the beginning of our visit to Yellowstone, to help orient us to the local area and to get our wildlife sightings under our belt early. It paid off, and we would definitely recommend Nolan and Yellowstone Journeys to our family and friends. His spotting scopes great, and allowed us to observe incredible detail about the animals but from a safe distance. As a bonus, Nolan shared the videos and photos he recorded on his scopes during the sessions for us to have as keepsakes. Thanks to Nolan and Caitlin for a memorable family experience, and a hospitable introduction to Yellowstone!

This was our first time at Yellowstone. I would not change a thing as to who we used for the Tour; Wildscape Adventures. Chris Georgia is the BEST! He is knowledgeable with everything and anything, from where to get a good cup of coffee to where we would see wildlife! He also respects the rules of the park and the safety of us and the animals! A 10 Star rating!! We are already booked to work with him again in the Fall.. THANK YOU, Chris!!!

Flew from Boston to Seattle to Anchorage. Tour began there. Husband, 12 year old grandson and I. 2 vans. Man and woman drivers. 10 parents, 7 children. One other grandmother like me with her granddaughter. Saw Denali from the ground, wild bears, other wild animals. Great scenery of mountains. Good food. Good accomodations. Nice people. Was my 50th state to visit.

    Yellowstone Dreamin tours:
5/5- all starts with coordinating upfront with Debbie (owner) and her exceptional customer service skills- she definitely wants you to experience what you want- we were on a 1 day park visit and her suggestions fit our needs perfectly. Now, on the actual tour (10hrs.), our guide Adam, was another great fit for my wife and I. Perfect amount of information for us, pointing out many, many items of interest that we would normally just drive right by. Took us to all the “must see” spots, and walked with us to the best vantage points. Gave us site specific information, viewed, photo’s and on to the next spot. The full day tour was done in a perfect sequence whereas it never felt pushed. Highly recommend this group for a great individual tour of the park. Great job Yellowstone Dreamin!

We can’t say enough good things about our tour guide Brandon. This was a private tour for 4 of us. We HIGHLY recommend taking the private tour since you can personalize it. Listen to your guide, they know about Yellowstone…we didn’t bother with Grand Prismatic because it was cold and rainy we wouldn’t have seen the colors on a day like that. Brandon took us to another location where we were lucky enough to see a black wolf and a glimpse of a bear that was moving very fast. The lunch and snacks provided were top notch. Having a guide that was born and raised in Montana was key to getting great information about the area. Thanks again Brandon.

We had an excellent tour today with JR. Communication the day before was great answering last minute questions concerning pick-up time, location and what we might need to bring. He was prompt picking us up to start a wonderful day. His knowledge concerning the park and wildlife was great. We saw Big Horn sheep, mountain goats, bison, black bears, pronghorn, wolves, coyotes, fox, Bald Eagles, hawks and sand hill cranes. He and my daughter talked photography most of the trip and he was able to share tips and tricks with her. Highly recommend a tour to get the most out of your Yellowstone vacation.

My Mom and I traveled to Yellowstone in February 2024 to do a private workshop with Chris. It was excellent! Chris was knowledgable of the area, wildlife that we might see, and camera and photography related questions. We made daily itineraries, but had the flexibility to adjust based on how the day was going, or if any wildlife had been spotted that we might want to adjust too. I could also not think of a better person to spend 12 hours with. We loved it so much we booked another private workshop in September 2024! Looking for forward to seeing another season of Yellowstone with one of the best photographers out there!
