    Love it!!
    Visited Willes 2 years in a row, and love it! Wish the tasting room was bigger, but that contributes to the small MT town atmoshere
    very social place, and surprisingly great whiskey!!!

    A lovely park
    Many picnic tables, benches and sits right along the river with spectacular views of the mountains. Very short walk from downtown.

    Long road trip from Ca. But ❤️ It!
    I’ve been going to Wade Lake with my family since I was young child. I took a ride trip with my kids from Ca. A couple years ago and the lake and campgrounds haven’t changed one bit! It’s a beautiful, peaceful lake and campground.

    Breathtaking
    This lake is absolutley breath taking with Crystal clear water throughout. The underwater rock walls are impressive and ominous as it show just how deep the area is. We same many large trout swimming under our kayaks. It was a peaceful float full of beauty and impressive views. Would 100% recommend.

    Living History!
    This is a great stop for the family. The Living History Museum was a very pleasant surprise. We enjoyed the history of the area by walking through this little town that was recreated to reflect the way of life in the old west. Just about all the staff there are volunteers dressed in time period clothes, in character, and sharing historic information. We learned a lot and loved watching the staff go about their chores and jobs of the Old West. There were presentations on wheel making, blacksmith, tin maker, and basket weaving. I would highly recommend taking time to visit the museum. All proceeds and donations go to the preservation of the living history.

    I don't know what this photo has to do with the place, but it is nothing like this. This is a small fly fishing center with a quaint "western" town tonied up for the tourists. A few really good galleries and some that are just full of import stuff. This gallery is one of the better ones with representational art, oils, acrylic and some good bronze sculpture. Western theme and landscape works.

    Out if business
    With deep regret Blue Heron is no longer in business it is now a real estate company. Blue Heron was one of my favorite business I will be missing it.

    Perfect spot in mountains of Montana
    The Diamond J Ranch is the perfect spot for families. We had our own - quite big - cottage with the most fantastic views. Heated saltwater pool available. Very very helpful staff and probably the most clean place we have ever visited. Cant recommend this place enough

    Quick service on 4th of July before the parade
    Stopped in prior to the parade to grab a beer. Managed to score a local bottled brew, Big Sky IPA. There were two bartenders working the main bar and at least two working a bloody mary bar set up to the side. A great idea that kept the line moving.

    Cool fishing bar (and decent enough food)
    Cool fishing bar (and decent food). We fished with the guides from Trout Stalkers, which is their next door neighbor. At the end of the day, it seems like a natural extension of your apres fish day to stop in. It always seems to have a good crowd and nice beer and drink list (think Mt fishing trip menu). We found the food to be OK, not much for healthy eats. Fried food and burgers mostly, general bar food. Frankly, I think the drinks and atmosphere of post fishing Mt is really the draw here, but if you are hungry, it can fit the bill too.

    Fun local course
    Greens were in great condition for July heat. Staff was friendly. This is a very casual course with everyone feeling very welcome. The elevated tees were fun.
