It’s one of the best museums I have ever been to. I highly recommend spending 2-3 hours there so you can see everything. Very educational and fun, too. They have a planetarium with shows, too.

This place is absolutely amazing. The artifacts on display and the information that runs along side are just incredible. It is a gem for geeks, ordinary people 😀, children, students, in fact everyone will learn something incredible. I loved being so close to some of the best items relating to computer science, the missions to the moon, robotics and brand new quantum computing. Go and enjoy it for yourself.

Wonderful experience seeing bears up close safely. The bears are well cared for and rescues from the wild. Staff is welcoming and very informative. We learned a lot about bears in general and bear safety. Went back a second day to see a different bear. Easy drive from Bozeman. Highly recommend this experience.

Super easy hike with a little bit of hard breathing. Nice to have the paved path, I’m nursing a bad knee so did not want uneven surfaces. We got there early & there was only one other car in parking lot. By the time we got back to our vehicles it was a busy parking lot & we passed a family & anotger few hikers going up as we were headed down.

Spend two days in Bozeman (at least) to give yourself time to hit Main Street and take in as many shops and bars and restaurants as you can. The Main Street is awesome but go down some side streets as well. Also, get out for some nearby hikes like Drinking Horse and the “M”. If you are lucky, maybe there will be a street festival for music or art. Farmer’s market is on Tuesday!

Snow beautifies any landscape. Well, this one really is gorgeous. Hills, river, forests etc. The river is obviously the centerpiece of the views. A long stretch is protected land inside Yellowstone NP. Caution that the road is also dangerous, especially below Big Sky where folks often are tanked up after skiing, mixed with flatlander rookie drivers in the mountains who rented non-4WD-non-snow tired vehicles, ugh, watch out. Still, would definitely return again and again, as worth the risk ;)

Beautiful drive through a narrow canyon from West Yellowstone to Bozeman. It made me wish we could of gone white water rafting, hiking, zip lining, or fishing. Unfortunately, we had to catch a flight and couldn’t spend much time here. Big regret. I would love to come back and spend more time here. BTW, the wild flowers in late June were incredible. Entire mountain sides were covered in wild flowers!

Hidden gem ski area! By far the fastest way to get on the slopes from airport to chair lift. The skiing is fantastic, the people are friendly and it’s not crowded.

Good for some pictures and an hour or two. Learn all about the history of the town you have just moved into.

The library is in the middle of construction but services did not seem to be affected very much. I love the coffee shop and used book area.

I am so glad we stopped here. They have a wide selection of drinks, my favorite is huckleberry lemonade. I liked it so much, I bought a bottle of Cold Spring Huckleberry Vodka.

The theater was having a “yard” sale in the back of the theater the day we flew into Bozeman. Since we love exploring, we took time to walk around the alley to go to the sale. We had a wonderful visit with the people who helped restore this old theater. My hometown recently restored an old movie theater so it was great to see this happening in other parts of the U.S.

Great groomed trails for cross country skiing. Took a lesson and Cambria was terrific. Helpful, friendly and knowledgeable.

Gravel trail with a slight incline; good for beginner hikers and families. Lots of people with dogs on trail. It takes about a half hour to get to the Falls when walking slowly. Falls are very nice. A few benches and rocks to sit on and take it all in.

If you have a chance to attend the opera, symphony or ballet here you will be absolutely amazed by the intimacy of this venue. It is lovely to behold and even more lovely to partake of the performances here.
