- DarylJ552Carlsbad, CA2,984 contributionsWe had reservations for the visitor center and parked in the underground garage at Crown Center. There was lots of information on how the business developed over the years and how it became such a huge success. There was also a section on The Hallmark Television channel.Written August 6, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - KalNJDelaware142 contributionsThe Kansas City Library is often on the "top 10" list of most beautiful libraries, and rightly so. An old bank, now a library with all the glamour and riches of the old days. Even though we were only visiting for about a day, we made sure to stop here and weren't disappointed. Even if you just check out the outside of the library, walls painted like books, is worth the visit. Do not miss the vault turned into a movie theater.Written May 17, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- Karyn WKansas City, MO1,485 contributionsThe National Archives doesn't get the attention it deserves, but it's a cool place. Last year I went to see a movie here on gender equality and got to see part of the place as I walked back to the area the film was being shown. It was a nice space for the movie, but walking along the halls I got to see some of the other cool stuff.
Normal hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. They offer free guided tours that last 45 minutes, but do call 2 weeks in advance to schedule them.
There is extensive microfilm holdings of value for genealogy research, and information on closed business and personal bankruptcy case files, and civil and criminal case files from Federal courts in Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, and Nebraska.
Even just the photos and descriptions you will find on the walls are interesting, this is a cool place to check out.Written September 3, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - akparranKansas City, MO73 contributionsConveniently located for the Waldo Tower neighborhood that can accommodate small meetings, if reserved in advance. The new book section is great - but new shelving is needed for the Books on CD section. The current shelving is too low for accessibility and readability. The staff rotates, but are friendly and helpful.Written February 11, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
