We love to take family and friends to the overview park and the very best part of this hidden jem is the beach/swim area complete with sand on a large lake.
Trail of Tears State Park is beautiful anytime of the year, but when the leaves change colors in the fall, it is truly a sight to behold!

Rather it be a visit from the Budweiser Clydesdale's, the Southeast Missouri State Fair, Bar-B-Q contests, or Kid's Day at the park, there is ALWAYS something fun happening here.
The park is clean and well maintained and the arena is a great place to judge.
